We ordered half a chicken from the Duck carry out location, and ate it at the adjoining pizza restaurant. It was fun to meet the founder’s grandson, who was single-handedly running the store. The chicken was absolutely delicious-perfectly fried and seasoned, with a light, crunchy and non-greasy batter, and the portions were large….very good value and simply scrumptious!

Best fried chicken on the outer banks. The first bite has a kick of spice, but the chicken it's self is so juicy and savory that you won't remember the spice.

Pretty good. The chicken was juicy and the breading was good. Needed a dash of salt is all. The fresh cut fries were soggy but that's how they usually are anywhere. Overall satisfied my troops
