Great pizza and drink options. Local beer on tap and good beer available in cans. Indoor and outdoor (boardwalk) seating overlooking the sound. We went here twice during our recent stay and didn't have to wait for seating either time, around 6 p.m. Helpful, friendly employees and a well-organized menu board, shown in the photo.

Great hand tossed pizza with fresh tomato sauce that has a good tomato flavor and excellent cheese. However it took a long time to get our pizza and a section of it was burnt. Excellent view of the sunset. I will give it another try and if not burnt then I would give it 5 stars.

This was some of the best pizza I had in a while. They also have a great selection of specialty pizzas and toppings. I particularly enjoyed its location on the boardwalk overlooking the sound during sunset as I ate. However, seating is very limited so you'd better time your visit right.

What a wonderful pizza place, and the view is beautiful! My husband and I ordered the large Beached Whale pizza, and it was great! They were generous with their toppings, and the pizza was so tasty. I also love that they have boxed water. It took about 20 minutes to get the pizza, so the wait time wasn’t too bad either.

Excellent pizza and great staff! Our first time in OBX but if we return we will definitely stop again! My only complaint is the sewage smell on the deck but I don’t think they can really control that. Beautiful view at sunset. Live acoustic music. Definitely recommend

Parking was tight, I mean difficult doesn't describe how hard it was to find a space. I think that is Duck in general, though.
Got a seat on the patio facing the water. Nice breeze. Had some live music.
Pizza was really good, Cheese was dripping and plentiful. Peppers were very fresh. Really enjoyed the whole experience.

We went super early, (1st in on a Monday!) so service was always going to be good and food to table quick. We weren't disappointed. Food selection, freshness and pricing good. Simple menu of pizzas (2 sizes) and hoagies, accompanied by strong selection of great craft beers.
We had pizzas and all the toppings were fresh. Red sauce fabulous, (didn't have white), bases were thick yet not doughy, really tasty good pizza. Ate outside on the boardwalk overlooking the bay as the sun started to dip, really nice location. I couldn't fault Wave Pizza. We haven't had pizza elsewhere in Duck but if you want a sure thing start at Wave.

I really like this place. Great pizza with crisp crust, tasty cheese and sauce and fresh toppings. It was pretty busy and the staff informed us of the wait as soon as we got there, so we ordered some beer (great selection of craft brews) a bottle of wine and some hummus and chips while we waited. We also ordered a large salad and some hot subs with our pizzas, all very good. The deck is right on the water with several tables and the view is spectacular. Although busy, the staff was very friendly, we'll return again.
