Magoo's Pizza

My first encounter with Magoo's was in person, pre quarantining. Really amazing pizza! Truly gourmet - imaginative combinations of toppings, perfectly prepared and baked and very high quality and fresh. This week we received Magoo's frozen pizza. They came in perfect condition via UPS. They were incredibly tasty! Baked really well in standard oven. I could wax eloquent just on the crust - more a pastry, then a dough. Again, the frozen is of gourmet quality as I said above.

This is a great little pizza joint. They only have one size of pizza which is perfect for one person. The crust is pressed right in front of you and placed in the oven. Or order was done in about five to ten minutes. The ingredients were good quality and the crust is delicious. Thin and crispy on the edges but chewy on the inside where the ingredients are.

I travel for work, and try to look for a local places to eat. So I gave this place a try. they were very helpful when I arrived at a slightly awkward time and I was on my way to work (the hours were different than what was online due to the pandemic). The pizza was absolutely delicious. I am actually contemplating coming back tomorrow to get another Pizza, more of the brownie bites and definitely more the cookies. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a flavorful pizza that's not going to sit in your stomach like a rock as well as super friendly service and great staff. Edit: I didnt go back the next day.... I got another the same night.

Absolutely. Incredible. Pizza. I'm a 30 yr old foodie, born and raised in Dubuque and have been faithful to a few of my favorite local go-to pizza joints growing up. I have lived a mere blocks from Magoo's for years and am just now eating their pizza for the first time. Let's just say I'm ashamed of myself for not experiencing this sooner...I just inhaled my Margarita pizza and am already debating calling back for a 2nd. High quality ingredients, great price, and amazing flavor. Highly recommend!!
