Moretti's is truly one of those hidden gems. You would never expect to find home made Italian in the middle of a strip mall! Food is excellent, abundant, and reasonably priced so show up hungry! Great selection of wines as well.

By far the best Italian food in Columbus! Everything is hand/home made besides the penne pasta. Haven't found a bad item on the menu. Also the prices are incredibly cheap for the quality and amount you get.

First time eating at Morreti’s this evening. Food was phenomenal and service was great. Perhaps the best Italian food in Columbus.

For over 20 years, this is my favorite restaurant. They never disappoint. The fresh salads, the amazing bread and butter, and my favorite dish, eggplant parmesan, made with homemade pasta. Love. I take all my friends here to introduce them to the best Italian food.

Try to eat there at least once whenever we visit Columbus. Great Italian food and a great wine list. It’s small and noisy like most NY restaurants. Have always had great service. Reservations suggested.

Worse experience ever! They squeezed extra tables in the dining area and I counted 50 people sitting on top of each other. We had a table for four that was pushed in between other tables to where the waitresses had to apologize for trying to maneuver around our table. The people sitting at the table next to me were screaming the entire time we were there. The manager offered nothing but an lame apology. It was brought to Tommy's attention and he didn't come out or do anything either. Shame on them! It came across as greed on their part. Shame on them for letting customers sit in their restaurant knowing they wouldn't like it either if they had the same experience. The two tables beside us were unhappy, too. Moretti's had no problem taking our money. Oh, and this was at 5:30. Food is always good but the lack of customer concern was pitiful.

The food at this restaurant is unabashedly rich, the portions are huge and my friend and I left the place wanting to make out with the chef.

This is a small joint with a decent sized bar and really dull lights (the reason I gave 4.5 instead of 5). The place has about 10-15 tables and it was packed on a Tuesday evening.

We split an eggplant starter and pasta primevera in white sauce with spinach noodles (they have that substitute for egg noodles in all their dishes), with a side of their salad.

The eggplant came first, which was 2 pieces of eggplant in red sauce, cheese and mushrooms. This was followed by the noodle salad in balsamic, which was served in two different plates because they actually understand the meaning of 'split'. Both the dishes were fingerlicking good and we were too full for the pasta.

But then the pasta came ( in two plates again) with all it's caramelized vegetables and the fragrance and we HAD to dig in. We were literally struggling to breathe but just couldn't stop from taking another bite and sit there in our foodgasms. There was no way we were gonna finish that pasta and ended up boxing it.

It cost us less than $40 and I'll be going back fosho!

First, the service is OK. Let's be honest though, the only person I want to be amazing at their job is the cook. Our waitress was good, not great, but helpful, attentive and just a little rough around the edges. The way it ought to be at an Italian eatery.

I had the seafood and sausage dish. Amazing! The sausage was the perfect spicy. Lots of shrimp. My only complaint? So much food I had to take it home as leftovers.

I grew up in a city known for its Italian food and this was some of the best I've eaten. Do t judge a book by its cover.

Felt completely unwelcome Saturday at 5:00pm and no reservation. Just my husband and I. No warm greeting just grumbled and looked at seating chart. We offered to sit at the empty bar, no response or eye contact. They finally found us a place and sais " we have a reservation coming at 6:00". Which we took to mean 'ok we will seat you but hurry up eat and get the hell out" we will not go back even though the food was very good!

Good food, crappy service. In a previous visit, the food was definitely good there, but this time, the servers are unattentive and service is super slow. The hostess wasn't at the door for a good 5 minutes, we even had time to read the whole menu while waiting for the hostess. Sat down for 20min only to get a glass of water. Didn't even get the order in during that 20min. The server talked to us once, that was it. If they were busy, this is understandable, but the place was pretty much empty when we were there. unacceptable, we left and went to Bravo Cucina, which had better service and was 10 times busier

Awful Service. Wow, don't plan to dine here. The atmosphere is tight and undeserving of the prices for the food. The service is even worse, at least from the individual that we encountered. And this was the third visit. So, I do give everyone the benefit of the doubt for having a bad day. Perhaps the management needs to be engaged in how their staff treats paying customers. I won't go back.

Decent .. But that's it!. Moretti's should post their restaurant as being "Italian-American" cuisine. For as a true Italian spot .. meh .. but as an Italian-American spot .. it's pretty darn good.

Frequent readers of my reviews know I'm s stickler for authentic cuisine. I have studied historical origins of foods and when I visit a spot and see something on the menu that piques my attention .. I quickly order it up. Such was the case tonight.

My little sister and her husband were in town from Southern California, so my older sis and I decided to take them to Moretti's .. which I've never been .. but is a favorite place of my sister's.

I began my meal with a salad featuring "Creamy Gorgonzola and Bacon Dressing" with greens, tomatoes and onions. Rather good dressing and I was quite pleased.

My sister raves about the "Veal Moretti" at this establishment AND my not really knowing what that was?? lead to a dilemna. This was solved by my partner in crime ordering it so we could share the experience.

Being the "stickler" I wanted to try their version "Veal Marsala" WHICH origin is "Scaloppine al Marsala". Every trattoria in Rome offers up a rendition of this dish .. be it veal or chicken .. cooked in a Marsala wine sauce .. but the dish is indeed Jewish in origin .. nonetheless .. it has spread throughout the world and is quite delicious. Moretti's version was no different.

My "Veal Marsala" featured sauteed mushrooms in a rich wine sauce and a side of pasta in red sauce. Despite having too thick of sauce .. traditions ya know .. my "Veal Marsala" was very good. The pasta in red sauce, however, was fair at best.

My partner in crime's "Veal Moretti" was tasty as well .. WHICH ended up being a breaded veal cutlet buried in an "Alfredo" sauce smothered with poached mushrooms. I personally wouldn't have sogged the veal cutlet in a sauce if I were the chef, because the parts that weren't covered were crispy and very flavorful. I wanted THAT part .. but hey that's me. Still .. it was very good.

Wine selection needed more "Italian" wines on the menu .. especially whites .. there weren't really any. I would suggest Gavi, Orvieto, Verdicchio or Frascati. These are as good as any white wines in the world. Find a distributor Moretti's and get some in.

All in all .. I think Moretti's is a very nice spot for an "American" version of Italian cuisine and I will be back!

Delicious, BUT not great for a vegetarian. The food here is amazing. I mean really, everything that I have eaten here has been completely delicious. The problem arose last time I visited and was informed that their red sauce (which goes on the eggplant parm and other "vegetarian" dishes) is cooked with the meatballs. So basically, the only option that a true vegetarian has is to eat the alfredo sauce. The alfredo sauce is delicious, but since I'm not interested in super high calorie dishes, I don't have any good options at Moretti's. If you are a meat eater or are a vegetarian who doesn't mind sauce cooked with meat, then go check this place out and be ready for a delicious meal!

One of the 4 best Italian restaurants...5-stars. I have dined in. My wife and I frequent Moretti's and I have known the Owner/manager/Chef, Tommy, for over 15 years. Moretti's is without a doubt one of the 4 best Italian restaurants we have dined in, ever. That includes 2 trips to Italy. Ambiance is average, but the food....superb. Best wedding soup I have ever had. Best eggplant parm I have ever had. Their King Salmon is wild-caught, and with their home made pasta noodles, is "to-die-for". Their pasta is made fresh daily. Try the tiramisu for dessert. one of the best we have ever had.

Overpriced. Where do they get their stones big enough to charge $22 for a piece of chicken? The food is delicious but WAY overpriced!

Eat at bar or carry out. Outstanding, quality food and good portions. The place is way to tight on space. Tell Tommy to loose a few tables to make it better for everyone who wants to eat inside the place. Try the veal Moretti, it is a 10.. TEN!!

My Favorite Italian. Man, I love this place. The portions are huge and everything I've had there is awesome. My favorites are Chicken Moretti and the Eggplant Parmesan. The seating is crammed, but it adds to the character of this place. Most of the customers are older and have been going there for years. The best day to go is Monday when they have all of their chicken dishes half off.

Steve Davis. Moretti's is the best Italian restaurant in Dublin and in the top 5 in Columbus. You must try the house salad and the veal Moretti with extra pasta. It is superb. The service is special and it is an interment location.

Best Italian in central Ohio. I love Moretti's!! the food is top notch every time. all of their pasta is made fresh every day. servers are fast and knowledgable. the downsides are that they have to pack a lot of seating into a small restaurant, and that the place is always packed. you should make reservations if you want to eat here. I am looking forward to trying their other location in Upper Arlington...

Good food, but suck it in.. FOOD/DRINKS: Great food and large portions although many items priced a bit higher than they should be.
ATMOSPHERE: Very Tight and uncomfortable. You have to hold your elbows in when you eat. You are on top of everyone's conversation.
SERVICE: Good. Wanted to share some entrees with people and asked for extra plates. Apparently they charge to split the meals. A nickel and dime move and a little bush league.
IMPRESSION: Although some of the items I like are overpriced, I still pay it b/c they are very good.
COMMENTS: I would like to go more but the atmosphere keeps me out of the place.

Fettucine alfredo melts in your mouth. Moretti's is my favorite Italian restuarant...ok the atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but the food is spectacular. The manicotti & fettucine are my favorites. Bring an appetite because its more than most can eat in one sitting.
