Always amazing Sushi! The drinks are very good as well. We ordered to go orders from here many times during Covid but we really enjoy going into the restaurant now. The service is very good and the staff is super friendly.

This is my favorite place, where the most delicious rolls and sushi are prepared. The service is always fast and the food is fresh. Never had a bad meal when I came to Amakara restaurant. Last time I ordered the tempura ice cream dessert and it was perfect. The portion was large, one was enough for two of us. Parking is available across the street from Amacar.

Quite a busy restaurant but does not take reservations on Saturday night. We managed to get seats pretty quickly at the sushi bar. The food is great , although I am not used to onion and tomatoes on top of sushi. Overall, we enjoyed it.

We went for the first time after being recommended to me. The sushi was fantastic. Every time we try a new sushi place in Dublin, they just get better and better. We had the caterpillar, double jalapeno, and their take of a Philadelphia roll. All three were amazing. As far as the atmosphere, it was busy but the place wasn't loud. The restaurant was clean and the seats were comfortable at the sushi bar where we sat.

I've been to this place a couple times now and the food has been amazing each time. All of the food is fresh and high-quality, especially the sushi. The sashimi is some of the thickest cuts that I've seen and I'm all about it. I also recommend the Pork steam buns. The bao bun is soft and freshly made and the ingredients make the dish very balanced. Having said all that, it is a bit pricey so set expectations accordingly.

This was my first time here. Amazing food selection. Great food. The service wasn’t awful but it wasn’t great. Forgetting refills and we shared two items but we didn’t get individual plates for oysters or our Hawaiian Roll. The atmosphere is loud. I felt like I was yelling the whole time to talk and I couldn’t hear the person I was there with. Left with a slight headache. I also had trouble finding where to park. BUT STILL.. I will go back the food is amazing!

This sushi place is located in Dublin near Tesla of Dublin. Parking is ok wish it was easier to find parking in dinner time. The atmosphere of this place is elegant. The sushi are presented very nicely. The rolls are tasty look like art. The sashimi was fresh and tasty. The edamame were delicious. The tempura ice cream delicious. This place has never disappointed me. Great place for celebration, date, anniversary, birthday, or whatever.

*Arrive early to to secure your spot on the list. No reservations. My group of 8 got seated by 7 pm after arriving at 6 pm. We started with a bottle of White Crane hakutsuru Ginjo Sake, setting the perfect tone. The oyster shooter was a highlight - raw oyster, quail egg yolk, tobiko, spicy sauce, and ponzu, a burst of flavors. Sushi rolls like Spicy Crunch Rainbow and Red Dragon were masterfully crafted. The Mixed Sashimi platter was a treasure. While the extensive menu boasts various options, my personal favorites were the simpler rolls, like the Three of a Kind. Its composition of Tuna, salmon, yellowtail, cucumber, and kaiware with tobiko highlighted the art of restraint, allowing the natural flavors of the seafood to shine. Seafood here is exceptionally fresh, each bite an oceanic delight. *Tip: Take the BART, a 5-min walk, as parking is tough. Embrace Amakara's culinary journey stress-free.

This was my first time eating in Amakara. I must say, I got there about 30 minutes after it opened, and the wait to be seated was already at 20-30 minutes long. The restaurant itself was spacious but crowded and packed to have only been open for 30 minutes (1130am). When I was finally seated, it did not take the waitress long at all to come take my order. I tried the Dragon Sushi Roll with a Lunch size Spicy Ramon (I added pork) and a glass of lemonade. It took about 10 minutes to get my food, which in my opinion was pretty quickly compared to how busy the place was. The presentation was definitely what you would come to expect for an establishment that considers itself to be upscale. The price was right in the range that you would expect sushi to be in ($20 per sushi future. The ramen was a full-size bowl and not a half size (which is what I was expecting). It was so much food that I couldn't finish the entire meal. I will definitely eat there again in the near future.
