Update: after two weeks they still took my money that sat pending despite the fact their site declined my card. The website and phone number you call are a third party and there is no way to reach the actual owner. This is fraud. I never got my food and was charged for it. My bank says there is nothing they can do. I'm FURIOUS. I guess since I live down the street maybe it's time to protest this place and let customers know this business is shady as hell. Really angry. I just ordered food through the app with money on my card and it says the cars declined but I was charged. When I called to try to fix it the woman who answered was extremely rude. When I didn't understand what she was saying to me I asked the boss please call me back and she didn't even listen to me when I tried to give my number, yelled, I have it, and hung up. Well you just lost my business.

We really like CJ Wok’s food, but after our last two experiences, they lost our business. Last time we ordered, we ordered through their website and got a delivery time with our confirmation email. We waited about a half hour after the said delivery time to call and check our order. They said it was heading out right then but we could overhear them finding the order and realizing it hadn’t been made. Despite this, the food was good and we decided to give them a try again. Tonight, I placed an online order but put a delivery time for later in the evening hoping that giving extra time would help with last times issue. Despite the specified delivery time, we received a text that our food was at the door about 20 minutes after we placed the order. We checked both doors, but nothing. We waited a bit more until our actual scheduled delivery time to call the shop thinking it might’ve just been an error. When we called, the lady at the shop told us the food has already been delivered over a half an hour ago. We explained about the text and that we checked but nothing was there. She said they would remake the order and send it in 15-20 minutes. Cut to 45 minutes later when our food still hadn’t come. (This is now two hours after the order was placed and one hour after the scheduled delivery time) We called the shop back and the woman who picked up made excuses about their delivery driver changing shifts and that she would have the driver call us. Miraculously, within minutes the driver called us and arrived at our house. He repeatedly told my husband the food was already delivered and someone must’ve stolen it. The shop was not apologetic or helpful, and the driver shrugged his shoulders and walked away as my husband explained that there was no way someone took our food as we checked repeatedly. Unprofessional staff, horrible phone service, and unreliable delivery.

I am so lucky to live next to a place that makes such good food! The staff is quick, very friendly and always serve food that exceeds my expectations. I was selfishly disappointed when they were closed on a holiday and I had to order food from somewhere else. Their vegetarian options are great, the tofu is prepared amazingly and I love their sushi as well. To be fair, I have never been disappointed by anything I have gotten from them.
