Lobster Claw

The new owners made this place freakin awesome. Always the freshest seafood you can get in the area by far and awesome specials. Andreas Calamari is a must order app- Gumbo is awesome and my usual fried flounder is better and fresher than anywhere I’ve ever had around the jersey shore. If you haven’t been there since the change in ownership give it a shot, you’ll be happy to see you have access to that type of quality and freshness in this area!

We arrived to the restaurant 20 minutes before they were going to close, and they happily greeted and welcomed us in! They allowed our six year old to explore their seashell display, and all of the staff smiled as we found our table. Best lobster roll I’ve ever had, and the rest of the family loved their food as well! Quick, friendly service, they never made us feel rushed, and it was such a nice atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back to Lobster Claw!

Ordered takeout last Friday, did the family meal. The food was ready on time, the restaurant was pretty busy so I'm glad we opted for takeout vs dine in. They have plenty of options assuming you want seafood of course 😉. The family meal has a mix of fried shrimp, flounder, scallops and a couple crab cakes. You also get potato salad and a couple sides plus sauces. The food was excellent, the crab cakes had plenty of crab vs filler. The price for the food was reasonable for what you get. If you're thinking seafood the Claw would be a great choice.

Drove over an hour to try this place and was not disappointed! The lobster bisque was delicious and obviously homemade. The Connecticut style lobster roll had huge pieces of lobster in and was also amazing. And the prices were great too! I've spent time on the coast in Maine and the quality was just as good as the lobster from there. Will definitely return!
