California Fish Grill

I've been to other locations (Cerritos) that were great. This location unfortunately is not. Service is terrible. I ordered a keto shrimp bowl, it was missing ingredients. My wife had fish n chips, the fries were soggy. I ordered a side of grilled asparagus, something I've ordered at the other locations, they always serve 5, this one only served us 3. The shrimp skewers in the garlic butter sauce is a must try! We also got the rosemary zucchini and fish tacos. The batter was great. I would only suggest that they have limes available for the tacos. Just my personal preference. The restaurant was very clean and the workers were pleasant. Will return!

The clam chowder was extremely watery save your money. We ordered a large and were amazed at the small amount they served and we were told they would not provide us with any more that was the portion.The kale slaw was without dressing and they would not provide us with any moredressing. This was not my 1st time there I really want to like this place. I ordered beans as a side and they 2 were very watery,and they weren't on the plate we had to go backup front to get them. It makes me wonder how much do they water things down. The salsa bar has also been removed. Maybe they are trying to stretch things. I was there the day before with my daughter we had the Hawaiian trio it was pretty good the coconut shrimp not worth it and the riced callaflower definitely not worth the extra charge. I do like their street corn I think that's killer. The shrimp and the butterfly shrimp were both pretty good I don't want to completely condemn them but yeah I think they owe us some money back. Seems like they are not making enough money for somebody to serve food like this.

Our tacos and fries were cold, not even a little warm; like the food had been sitting out for an hour, even though we picked it up in 15 minutes.They gave us the wrong tacos. The Brussel sprouts were burnt and cold. Never getting food from this place again. The restaurant in Long Beach on Lakewood is so much better.

Ordered my Food online through Doordash, had never tried this place and the total delivery time was 85 minutes so I figured the food was good, my dasher got there timely and was waiting for my order, 20 minutes before my time was due, the restaurant tells my dasher that they never got my order, that they could not find it on the system. Doordash then calls me to apologize letting me know that they would have to cancel my order because the restaurant claimed they never got it and were not allowing them to re-place the order. Felt bad for my dasher, and upset at their customer service. After reading other reviews now I know why.

Need to train cashier to be more professional. We had to stand for 10 minutes while the cashier took a phone order. Another cashier open up and instead of taking our order she took other customers. When we told her that she should take our order. She responded to wait for the cashier to finish taking the phone order. Very unprofessional and Unacceptable

Had a great time here with my family. You have to go up and order your food, pay for it and they give you that little device that vibrates when is your order is ready. Set your order out on sheet pans, and all the condiments you want are all in one place. They have a very unique soda machine, with a lot of different kinds of flavored soda that are very unusual. They look like beer taps. Very friendly staff, place was clean. We all enjoyed our food greatly. Would definitely come back again! Sorry that some of the photos have a shadow in them, but the lighting where I was sitting was very dim.
