Del Taco

For 10PM, the options were few, but I was pleased to see they have the beyond meat option for burritos. I was disappointed with the burrito, as far as quality. Although I’m happy they have the variety, as times are changing, the quality was definitely lacking. I ordered up for a larger selection of fries and was disappointed in that area as well. I didn’t drink my drink. Pink lemonade at most restaurants seem to have an issue upon changing them out.

Dining room was locked, during daylight business hours. When I got to the drive thru speaker, I was informed the fryer was down and there were no fries. I would have just left at this point, had I been able to, but the way the drive thru is constructed, I couldn't without damaging my car. I took their substitution which was a small bag of cold tortilla chips and some cold queso in a small cup. Had the dining room been open, and they told me the fryer wasn't working, again I would have simply left. I go to Del Taco because I enjoy the tacos over Taco Bell, and I love the fries. I like to eat when the food is hot, not drive 15 min home and eat when it's cold. Why is the dining room locked almost 99% of the time at this location? Is this Del Taco policy?

Lately the doors have been locked every time I’ve gone, even at 3pm on a Tuesday. I prefer to order thru the app and pick up inside the store. Nothing in the app about closure, no physical signage about them being closed. The only consistent thing about this location is that they WILL mess up your order. I’ve gone at least twice a month since they opened and have not had my order properly made yet. There is always something missing. I know they make the guac to order and that’s what’s left off/out most often, so it seems they’re just lazily not making it and hoping you don’t come back for a refund. When this happens, I’m never told they’re out of guac- it’s just left out. I started reporting it through online customer service and they’ll refund the whole order if anything is wrong. They’re not changing the fry oil enough; the fries always have that metallic taste that old oil gives off.

Never had a problem with Del taco, but last night my husband and I had del taco. This morning, he woke up with FOOD POISONING! He's been sick and throwing up rice and other components from the epic burrito and tacos all day. We think it might be saminila or Ecoli. He's had chronic diarrhea. Might have to go to the emergency room. Would highly not recommend eating at THIS Del Taco ever again. Very disappointed. I hope somebody can make sure the food handling is right.
