Mia's Italian Restaurant

I wanted to like this place, I really did. I expected better after seeing the reviews, but didn't share the same experience. Walked into the restaurant onto a sticky floor. Sat down at a sticky table. Washed my hands in a nasty bathroom sink with no paper towels. All of that might have been excusable if the food was good. But the food wasn't even close to being worth it. The breadsticks are essentially a small cheese pizza with no sauce. The fries tasted like the frozen ones you get from the store that never cook quite right. Subs are okay, but better can be found a minute down the road. The wings are anorexicly small and devoid of flavor. The pizza dough tastes like it came from a stale pillsbury do it at home can. The sauce was dull and uninspiring. If you want pizza, head 30 seconds more down the road to the pizza hut or Papa John's across the street. You'd do better with take home frozen pizza from Publix. To top it all off, the menu prices lists the "cash price" for all items, so if you pay by card it'll cost you more.

If you left a bad review of this restaurant, you obviously didn't have the lasagna. It is truly the best I've ever had. The salad is simple and honestly, I find that less is sometimes more especially with the homemade dressing. I have had many menu items over the years and never been dissatisfied with any of them. However, if you truly want deliciousness, GET THE LASAGNA! The family and I are heading there now. Can't wait! 😊
