Full Moon Bar-b-que

Overall, a pretty solid place! Greens were good, the baked beans were smokey and addictive, and the breading on the catfish was flavorful. The house made tartar sauce had a nice zesty kick to it. The cornbread was just sweet enough (though it could've been a little bigger). Pork and ribs were smokey, tender, and delicious. The chow-chow was spicy and so good! There were only a couple detractions. One was the fact that the chow-chow didn't seem to come with every dinner plate (or at least not the fish?). The other major flaw was their mac & cheese and french fries. A little bit if Cajun seasoning or anything beyond salt and pepper would've made these sides more interesting. Instead they were quite bland. But again, for the money you pay, it's not a bad meal. Most of your options will have your taste buds doing a happy dance.

This place used to be awesome. It’s REALLY gone downhill. I couldn’t eat half the meat on these spare ribs because they were stringy and the consistency of jerky. That’s NOT an exaggeration. And the Mac n cheese was bland and dry. I won’t be coming back here again and will recommend to everyone that asks to go elsewhere for bbq. It’s disappointing, but I really can’t believe it’s this bad. I don’t remember having worse bbq anywhere from the west to east coasts. Management really needs to get their quality under control.

Wanted a quick bite to eat that wasn't a hamburger. Full Moon BBQ fit the bill. My son and I both got a big baker with BBQ pork. They were both huge potatoes stuffed with pork, sour cream, butter and chives. The food was ordered at the counter and brought to the table by a friendly server. Meat was perfectly smoked a the sauce tangy but not overly spicy. Great food but be prepared to be stuffed when you leave.

First of all, let me start by saying my food was delicious. I loved the brisket, and the riblets. The sauce was fantastic. That being said, management should take a long hard look at their customer care standard of treatment. I place our dine in order and immediately after placed a take out order. Spent $75 all total. After asking a waitress twice about my to go order and then having to go up to the counter because they didn't come back to my table to advise status. I recieve an attitude from the waitress working the pass that "they were busy", "I am waiting on these dine in orders" pointing to the front counter where 3 trays of food were sitting. I said, "I've been waiting now for an hour since my order was placed, I would like my food so I can leave". She turned around and ignored me. The manager came over and asked what I was waiting for and I told him, "My Togo order" He said "we are behind on to go orders, I said I understand, but I placed my order an hour ago when I place my dine in order and have been finished now for over 30 minutes" he said "oh, your food should have already been up". No kidding. As much as I enjoyed the food, I will not return to this restaurant due to their poor customer service.
