The Basketcase Cafe

Had a horrible experience today. Only ordered a salad, took 50 minutes to get it and then a extra 5 minutes for silverware. We ended up boxing it up and having to eat it at work. Used up the whole lunch hour waiting for a chef salad. The waitress did not give us a menu. We had to ask her for one and it seemed to upset her that we were putting her out and didn't already know what we wanted. She messed up our drinks as well. Rude! Complained at check out, they really didn't seem to care. Bottom line, We will take our business to someone that want's our business.

WONDERFUL FOOD!!!! Locally owned which is always a plus to me. The food is cooked fresh daily. There’s something on the menu for everyone,....the problem is choosing what to order! It is ALL so good! If you haven’t lunched at Basketcase then you are truly missing out!!!! If you can’t dine in, order it to go! They do a great job getting you in and out quickly and the food is hot!

This is a casual dining experience, but the food is good. Upon entering the building, you get your own silverware, a menu, and seat yourself. The server will usually be around to get your drink order within a couple of minutes from your arrival. Sweet tea is good. I like the chicken salad and fruit, but I am told the soups are good, and the club sandwiches with fries lso. Fries are always nice and hot. I recommend basket case for a quick lunch.
