Reviews of Five Guys

For as expensive as it is I expect a burger with some flavor. I get it that their schtick is that they have lean plain burgers but they don't season at all and it's just not appetizing. The limited menu really means that you have to absolutely want 5 Guys in order to take the whole family there and after one visit I can pretty solidly say I will never want to go there willingly again....

Best Burger in Town. I truly love this place. The bacon cheeseburger all the way is simply amazing. The hamburger is so juicy. Remember the Wendy's commercial of years past about wiping your mouth, you best get the napkins ready. It is so juicy and tasty. If there is only 2 or 3 of you, get 1 regular fry to share. You know how when you get your fries from other chains and the little container isn't quite full. You will be amazed at the amount of fries. The fries are overflowing into the bag. No need to ration your fries so that they last the entire meal. I don't mind waiting when the food is this good. If you order the regular burgers, there will be 2 patties on the burger. I'm kind of glad there isn't one on my side of town. I would be as big as the side of the house by now.

Best Burger Ever. When we entered a spotless restaurant, it took no time to realize we were the only ones there (bad omen? NO), but proceded cautiously. We were greeted by a very pleasant, even jovial order taker who walked us through the very limited menu. Burger,cheeseburger,bacon burger and fries. Thats it. But streamlined works. The decor consists of bags of potaotes leading the way to the register, and reviews of this chain. They are correct in tooting their own horn. Although this can seem pricey, what we recieved was worth the cash. Two burgers, small fry and two small drinks...$18.62. The burgers come with one or two patties, and the list of condiments to choose from was probably close to twenty options, and the fries come regular or cajun spice.We asked the orr taker about the at level and he said it had a bite, so we went with the regular ones with a side of the cajun mix to shake some fries in thebag with,(as preicted, the heatlevel was nill, the seasoning smelling suspiciously like Old Bay). The very open cooking area was spotless also, and the crew immediately started on our order. It seemed to be a rather lenghthy wait, close to 15 minutes, I could not understand this. There are bags of salty, roasted peanuts to munch on to makethe time go by!. Help yourself! When our number was called, we were presented our order in a large paper bag with the grease beginning to seep through. As we had decided on an artery cogging meal, this was fine as it was not in excess. The burgers were cooked perfectly to temp, and our long list of condiments were correct, a note for the red, ripe tomatoes that seem hard to find. The large cup of fries overflowed into the bag, piping hot freshly cooked (perhaps a mnute or two too long). T ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and even after smashing it had a hard time getting mouth open that far! The burgers were delicious, and thick!! Juicy and meaty, now I understand the price. This was a burger disuised as a meal We encountered no gristle, bone, or strange bits that are sometimes found in "chain" food. The only negative about this place is that it is on the opposite side of town!!

The food here is simply amazing. Everything is fresh, never frozen. The manager even informed me that they do not even have a freezer on site. The burgers are cooked right in front of you as are the buns assembled. As for the frys. They are the best, no doubt. The potatoes they use are on display as you walk in. And the size of the regular fry is quite large. Me and my wife could not finish a regular order together. I'm willing to put my stamp on this burger as the best burger ever. Juicy and well done. Hot and fresh.

Wow!. We had been meaning to get over to Five Guys for a while, and finally tried it this weekend. We were very please. It was delicious. Very fresh, and their fries were also amazing. We got a cheeseburger each, and a regular fry to share. Now I know the next time I go back, I will get the small cheeseburger, and the regular cheeseburger had me stuffed! The staff was very friendly, and we will definitly be back.

One of the Family Favorites. Ever since I tried Five Guys Burgers and Fries in Birmingham, I have loved their food. When I was informed we would be receiving one in Dothan, I was excited, and I have not been disappointed.<br/><br/>The smallest burger on the menu is enough to fill you up, and if you get fries, they are seemingly endless. It always tastes fresh, and with the open kitchen display, you are able to see them cooking your lunch/dinner, which may be an added plus to some. <br/><br/>The Dothan location is very clean, staffed with friendly people, and is in a primary location, next to Flowers Hospital. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great burger and tasty, hearty fries.
