Hello Chicken

I fell in love with Korean fried chicken when I visited Seoul. This place takes me back! I loved their soy garlic fried chicken. The half serving of chicken is more than enough to fill someone up. We had to take stuff home! Try a Hite beer from the fridge. It's Korean beer that goes perfectly with the delicious serving of fried chicken!

Hello Chicken was good. It was a little confusing when I got there as I wasn't sure if I was supposed to seat myself, or go up to the counter to order so I ended up Just going up to order. Their wings were crispy and exactly how I thought they would taste, but it did not have that certain wow factor I was hoping for. The Cucumber Side Salad was ok and not too amazing.

I will say the reviews about the smell - I feel 99% sure that smell was the food - I got the radish daikon banchan takeout and my house had the same smell opening it. It is very strong - not sure if they produce it there, and it may be a reason for you not to dine in and instead get takeout and not order the radish if you don’t like the fermented radish smell, but I wouldn’t say bathroom smell is accurate and it doesn’t give me any reason to believe it is unsanitary. Perhaps they could ventilate the storage for it better so the dining area isn’t quite as strong. Food was good; heavy, street style but I liked the fried chicken. My favorite accompaniment was the spicy rice cakes.
