Mariano's Cuisine

Very nice, upscale italian inspired restaurant (and other dishes like steak) prepared by an excellent chef. Located in Doral, on 41st Av. Excellent wine selection. They have a good $15 lunch menu. The service was exceptional and the atmosphere, quiet and sophisticated for a more relaxed dinning experience. We loved the Lasagna! The portions are good and the prices go from fair to a bit expensive.

On the recommendation of a friend we visited Mariano's for lunch, and we were seated immediately, we ordered the blood sausage rolls and they were delicious, for main we ordered the ceviche and the lentil and quinoa salad, all very nice and well presented, the wine list is well varied well curated and reasonably priced. We had a great meal, my only suggestion is they seem to have a lot of regulars and media personalities, the staff gives them priority and extra attention, from taking orders to food delivery they had priority. I agree you want to be constant with your regulars and deliver a great experience all the time, hopefully they can achieve that will all their customers, as their food is certainly great, we will return.

I’m giving 2 starts for the excellent service we received. The food, which is really the star of the show, was probably the worst Italian I’ve eaten in a very long time. I think it could have been really good, but the red sauce ruined it. It honestly tastes like cheap pizza sauce, not red pasta sauce. We ordered the gnocchi, the spaghetti, and the spinach ravioli. My 12 yr old loved it, but he’s 12 so he isn’t picky at all. The gnocchi would have been so much better with a cream sauce on it. It honestly would have been better with anything but that red sauce on it. But like I said, the service was really good
