Good brunch option in Westchester. Tons of street parking in walking distance. We had a reservation for the opening but the restaurant was empty at 1130. By the end of our meal, it did get fairly busy. Brunch is only pre fixe - which includes a starter, entree, dessert, and a drink (mimosa, coffee, soda, etc.). We started with the mozzarella and hash brown. Both were fairly large portions. The hash brown was fried well and pretty tasty with their egg/veggie sauce. Mozzarella was homemade and coated with balsamic/olive oil. Entrees were the ricotta pancakes and the BEC. Their bacon was super crispy - my one small complaint would be they used a fried egg instead of a runny one. It was slightly hard boiled in the center but it would have been 10/10 with a runny yolk imo. Pancakes were delicious, great texture, and topped with strawberries. Finished off with the affogato and chocolate/Marshmello desserts. No complaints here. Overall a solid meal and we'd happily return with others for brunch/dinner.

Best brunch in Westchester! 3-course menu (starter, main and dessert), great deal and all items are delicious.

Easter Brunch and the chef sent us home saying "how do they do that with the Easter pie", which was like a richer fritata with house cured meats for a flavor I will be seeking out again and again. And Pork Osobuco that's always amazing. Enjoy 😉 Update: its been a few years and I've been back many, many, times, still one of my top restaurants of all time blowing us away with amazing dish after amazing dish.

We found this place online and decided to try it and I think we'll definitely be coming back. Very nice bartenders, took drink order fast, cocktails were copacetic. Food was excellent. For appetizers we took a hash brown and meatballs. Hash brown was crunchy, not oily, perfectly balanced in salt. Fresh cream and pickled onions were amazing adds on. Caviar looked good on a dish, but the taste was very artificial and didn't go well with the hash brown. Meatballs - amazing. Very tender and juicy, marinara sauce was on top as well. Pasta with Lamb Bolognese looked very delicious, so was the taste. Chicken was cooked well, looked stunning. But the king of the night was rainbow trout wrapped in potatoes. I don't know what's the secret, but it was one of the best fish I've ever had. For desserts we had stickabutta pie and chocolate polenta. The pie was alright, liked the almond crust. But chocolate polenta was just a mess in a cup. Very sweet, salted cannolli shell was too hard, definitely not a fan. Special shout-out for music playlist.

Superb. My wife had the Cauliflower Ravioli. She claimed it was the best ravioli she's ever had. I had the Herb Marinated Steak. Very tasty. Portion was huge and satisfying. We had an autumn inspired dessert of pumpkin ice cream over an oversized donut. Delicious and very suitable for sharing. Our waiter was very accommodating and entertaining. We ate outdoors on a brisk evening, but the propane heaters kept us very toasty. A very enjoyable dining experience.

Updated June 18th 2023 Wow! The Cookery continues to Smash Brunch. Today's highlights: The Hashbrown Appetizer The Crispy Pork Special Appetizer . Both delicious. The Crispy Pork was so good I wished it was an entree option. Eggs in Purgatory is always perfection. Simply delicious. Chocolate Polenta a campfire reminiscent delight. The Daily Special Date Cake with Jane's Vanilla Ice Cream was a sticky toffeeish summer dream. Service is casual and attentive. Outstanding Three Course Prix Fixe Sunday Brunch that includes a selection of adult beverages to chose from for under $40 per diner. The highlights were starters The Meatballs and the house made Mozzarella with Bread were both fantastic. Perhaps the most perfectly seasoned and tender Meatball this Meatball fanatic has ever had. Entrees included Cacio e Pepe and the wildly unusual but delicious Spaghetti with pork & clam sausage in a magical butter, garlic, lemon and wine sauce. Prepare to lick your plate. Included desserts were Chocolate polenta with marshmallows and cannolli shells. Imagine a warm pudding like Smore for grown-ups. My dining companion had the Stick of Butter cake and it did not dissappoint. Grab your crew and make a reservation. The food was left of center and all delicious. Service was attentive and friendly which is what you want on a Sunday morning.

Pricey as expected but worth every penny. You know the famous saying you get what you pay for! The octopus appetizer was probably the best I’ve ever had. The Branzino dinner was even better. Drinks actually had alcohol in them and tasted so good. We will be back for sure. 5/5

Do you want delicious food? Proper cocktails? Great experience? Of course you do.... check this place out. The Cookery is always on the top places to eat in Westchester and it belongs there. Google says this is an Italian restaurant but it's much more than that. Not gonna find chicken parmesan at this place. Italian influenced is the best description. We got pizza rustica and the charcuterie board to start. Entrees were the special sandwich (pulled pork and mortadella), and pork osso bucco. Got a little healthy with the special vegetable, broccolini. All amazing. High praise to the Cookery.

Went here for brunch. The 3 course prefix was great value and the food was very good! All items were nicely plated and well portioned. Service was friendly and prompt and the ambience is cozy. I had the biscuit appetizer, the BEC, and finished with a slice of pie. All very good choices. Brunch also came with a complementary cocktail.

Arguably the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. We had the special sandwich which was a meatball sandwich on a Portuguese roll, bone marrow pasta, ricotta pasta, fried octopus, bread basket, whipped ricotta with truffle oil and the potatoes as a side dish. Each dish was mouthwatering. We can’t wait to go back!
