The Crystal Cork

The Crystal Cork is the gem of downtown Dixon. Whether a fun Friday or casual weeknight, there is always a wonderful atmosphere in this place. They have a wonderful martini selection, wines (of course), and other beer and mixed drinks. There is also a neat little storefront with gift items, wine, etc. Art from local creators adorn the wall and the owners are frequently working here. Everyone on the staff is so, so sweet. A little note, local restaurants (pizza, Thai, etc.) will deliver to the Crystal Cork and you can have a bite with your beverages. 😊

Arrived on a very busy Saturday night during an exhibition by an artist. Surprisingly, we were able to find a table quickly even though there were six of us. A short wait at the bar for drinks got us some delicious martinis and mixed drinks. Nice place for an elegant drink with friends. Definitely will return!

Always friendly and welcoming staff however not a single one can ever talk about wine? Several have even said "I don't drink wine". Imagine hearing that at Vin Chicago?? Anyway, the red wine is stored at room temp when it should be slightly chilled. Too much fruity tooty wine and not enough actual wine. The back couch seems to always be open for me to sit at however. Lastly there seems to always be some creepy old local fella trying to go behind the bar like he owns the joint.
