Dairy Queen (treat)

My daughter and I went yesterday evening for an after dinner treat. Ice cream is allways delicious, but what really made our experience a 5 star one was the fact that the young ladies behind the counter took the extra time to put the cutest little face made with sprinkles on my daughter's ice cream cone. It truly made her day! Thank you Dexter Dairy queen staff for taking the extra time to make my little one smile. Keep up that excellent customer service and going that extra mile! We will be back!

This Dairy Queen is the heart and soul of the City of Dexter. People are always gathering here after sporting events or parades and the ice cream is always good. It’s also a great place for a lot of local teens to get their first taste of employment. I’ve also ordered ice cream cakes from here (the Oreo one is awesome!). You order and they turn it around in about a day and write whatever you want on it. Super easy. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area for a treat. Oh and to the other reviewer Tom H., pull the stick out of your butt man. It’s a fricken local small town DQ not the Cheese Cake Factory in downtown Chicago. I’m sure you’re little cone was just fine and you were butt hurt for some other reason. No one cares if you don’t come back and get bent dude.

I've visited this location several times. I've never walked away feeling good about my purchase. For the price, I feel they do not provide enough compared to similar chains. Every time i have visited, I hoped that that would change. During my previous visit, which will likely be my last, I paid for a medium cone. When I picked it up at the window the person handed it to me with a chuckle. It was misshapen and lacking. The person who fulfilled my order might have been new and still learning, but I would hope that they would have been trained to not serve something that will obviously be dissatisfying to a customer.
