As buffets go, they offer rather healthy choices, including large fresh shrimp, as many as you can load in your to-go container. Many other typical Chinese dishes too, most of it quite delicious and better than most other Chinese restaurants. Rather reasonably priced.
I don’t like the buffets here but I will say I ordered something to go last week and it was delicious. I don’t care if they have booths open and there’s plastic everywhere. They don’t have the staff to clean like the state wants them to after somebody eats there. I had the pepper chicken. It was delicious! We are ordering it again tonight with some other dishes. Everyone and everywhere is short staffed so them not having a dining room open didn’t bother me and when I went in and looked at their buffets before it didn’t look fresh so I think she should stay like this and maybe open a few booths so somebody can sit down and eat if they want to. The woman was very nice to me. I don’t expect this business to sit there and give everybody change go to Rite Aid for something like that. I can’t believe people are giving it one stars because she wouldn’t give you change. It’s a restaurant not a bank.
I absolutely LOVE this place, the owners are a wonderful family, always yummy food and very generous portions, LOVE IT!
This is my family's favorite Chinese restaurant around especially after trying all in the north side of Lansing. They actually deliver which is great. And there food is unlike any others and is super delicious. Do your self a favor and try the pepper chicken as it is not what it seems. They always seem to go above and beyond for us and there son who delivers is always very pleasant. Will always choose this as our number one restaurant in Dewitt and that's alot to choose from considering there really isn't any bad restaurants here. Keep up the good work guys!
We have not been to Garden Lee in 4 years. Tonight we decided to try them again, value of all 3 meals was good. Food was hot and properly spiced. Kong Lao shrimp was well done and had a lot of shrimp, egg rolls were vegetarian, and were okay. Rice was good, and condiment packs varied and adequate. Very cautious in limiting contact with staff and customers. Nice job Garden Lee. We also got a free face mask in the take out bag. Nice touch! Thanks
This is located in a strip mall, the place is fairly small and you can't see it from the road.
They offer a buffet but when I looked at it I decided to order from the menu. The buffet looked very picked over, now this was after the lunch rush. So other times it might be okay.
I ordered the orange chicken which came out very quickly and looked very nice. Great flavor and plenty of food. The egg roll was okay, not great. I've made better, it looked like it was vegetarian; I saw zero meat in it.
Should I end up back in the area, I'll likely try the place again.
Very pleasing owners! Great food! Whenever my daughter's & I are sick or have sore troats/or sinus, we call Mrs. Lees's & order "Hot & Sour Soup". If you like it, I suggest you try it!!! It clears us up & makes us feel much better! Thank you Mrs. Lee!
Spicy hot and sour soup is a winner. The buffet is nice and fresh. This place needs a little love as far as updates but sometimes you skip the ambiance for good grub.
Just an amazing place to eat, there was so much food at the buffet and the chicken. Oh the chicken! Chewy with each bite. I recommend living close by so you can walk over everyday. The service was amazing and I absolutely love the wallpaper they have put up. 11/10
To this comment - Just awful place to eat... there was no foon on the buffett and the chciken was so touch i couldnt even bite it... i reccomend staying away from this place.... not to mention the service was terrible and the wall paper is coming off the walls. (#stop.being.petty) :P
it’s a great little place to get some food, they work hard and it tastes delicious. If you go late they let you take a whole plate of the buffet home!! Who else does that. I give 4stars but this comment makes it a 5 so thank you ^_^
