Went to try Fiesta Charra at Dewitt’s and it didn’t disappoint! Even though the restaurant was packed, the order came fast and everything tasted great. We tried the flan and it’s phenomenal.
Was in town for the night and found this place through Google search. The reviews were mixed, but the pictures of the food looked good. The decor is nice and it was spacious. The service was questionable, and the workers were not very friendly. He took our order, and he didn't really return until the end of our meal to deliver the check. When I asked questions about things on the menu, he was short and hurried. Thankfully we found our food to be very good and the prices are fair. I would recommend this place for the quality of the food and atmosphere, but the service has much room for improvement.
Decent Mexican food. Have ate here a lot over the years, service good, prices reasonable. Only reason not a 5 star for me is they dropped their quality on a few visits a couple years ago, didn't go there for a year or so, quality has improved. And the cheese enchiladas that used to be the best, they switched to a cheaper kind of cheese and I just can't eat them any more. I have noticed a few other Mexican restaurants in Central Michigan have done the same thing with their cheese enchiladas.
Great food, excellent service, and pitchers of margaritas! What more can you ask for? The staff was very welcoming and attentive enough without being annoying. The food was delicious and portions were large, but the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend, especially for larger groups!
Nice restaurant with friendly service. I like this place a lot. I’ve always had good experiences here. The food is always good and the service is friendly. The folks that work are great people and I like frequenting their business. I’m happy this place exists. 5/5.
Update 12/29/22: Another dining experience at Fiesta Charra in Dewitt and as usual excellent food, great service and priced right! We had a fantastic dinning experience tonight at Fiesta Charra! Service was good for a Friday night, albeit, we were there around 8:00. The restaurant is clean and the food is delivered quickly to the table. We love the cream type dip along with the fresh chips and salsa. They also have a spicier salsa which will will sneak up on ya...lol. My favorite meal there is the Pork Enchilada Suizas. I would highly recommend this restaurant if looking for reasonably priced good quality Mexican food.
Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Huge menu with traditional items and also the Tex-mex entrées that we all enjoy. You’ll get delicious food at reasonable prices. Small bites or large combos are available. I can’t wait to go again when I’m able to relax with a margarita.
It was a Saturday night, they were extremely busy so service was likely a little slower than normal. I gave five stars because they were still friendly and got anything we asked for quickly despite being packed. Food was great, margaritas were phenomenal.
My momma took me here for MY birthday 🎈🎈 I had a chicken taco salad. It was huge! It was DELICIOUS! They start you out w chips & salsa which are super good! My momma ordered "sweet corn bites" for us to share...I've never had this b4, they were really good. They were little fried corn discs! They had ranch served w them (I am not a big "ranch" fan...so I didn't do the ranch. What I did do was dip them in the salsa & some sour cream! WOW! I wish I would've had some guacamole, that woulda done them some serious justice! Lol!) It was truly a wonderful experience & day! We were checked on by our server multiple times...NICE! Anything that you want, they are extremely accommodating 👍🙂🤩
We've never had a bad meal here. They have numerous items that you don't typically find on a menu in a Mexican restaurant. I'm not sure why the complaints about service from other reviews. The servers typically come by several times during the meal and ask if everything is okay. Service is always surprisingly fast. This restaurant is a gem in the DeWitt community!
