Great food, awesome server, on point cocktails. You definitely get what you pay for. The Paella is delicious. I am already planning another trip.
One of the best restaurants in the “D”. Wait staff very attentive, excellent food (we had the Cuban Paella) and the red sangria kept us smiling the whole night long!
Father’s Day 2019, have been wanting to eat Cuban food for sometime. A perfect day not to crowded. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food & service was. I highly recommend going. We all had different dinner options. Our waiter was very efficient and knowledgeable. We will be going back and bring more people.
went for dinner before going to the fox theatre for a comedy show - had a massive order of paella was delicious - a ton of fixins and sides to start the day - calamari the bread everything was great.
Not sure what else to say....Vicente's is awesome. I wish I could give more than five stars!!
We went here on an early weekday during the summer. We were seated right away, but the place filled up quickly by the time we were done. The staff here was phenomenal. In a great, and growing, area of downtown Detroit, it still seems to be a hidden gem.
Simply put, the food dishes here were wonderful. Our family of four ordered 6 tapas dishes, ranging from seafood, to pasta, and everything in between. We enjoyed every last bit, and didn't leave anything left. They were all very, very good. The food came out very quickly...hardly enough time to enjoy our pre-meal Cuban coffee! So we had no choice but to have an after-meal Cuban coffee as well....which was fantastic.
Definitely don't miss this place, especially if you like Cuban cuisine.
Love this place; a reliable lunch option for me for many years. Food is really good; faves include papas rellenas, ensalada de pera and polo al limon. I mostly get food to go, but service has been fine the times I dined in.
This place is unique and a must try when in Detroit for awhile. It's about as authentic as you are going to get in Michigan. I highly recommend the Old Clothes, Pork Medallions, and the Diabla!
Dined there today with a group of about 40 people. We had toured a church and a downtown theater and arrived at approximately 12:30 PM. The decor as expected had a Cuban theme. We were seated immediately and the waitstaff brought out bread, butter and there was water available on the tables. We were given a choice for five different menu selections. My wife chose the veggie sandwich and enjoyed it. I had the Cubano sandwhich was turkey, ham, melted cheese on grilled bread. The sandwich was filling but not very tasty. Several people around me had the salmon salad which looked very good. Service was very good for our group. I would like to try it again with a smaller group.
This was just great We will.... This was just great
We will be back for sure
Great food. We went to Vicente's on Saturday night before going to a show there were 6 of us. We all ordered our food and drinks the drinks came and I must say them seemed a little shy of alcohol, The food cane to the table and Lordy it was great being used to eating cuban food in Miami I must say I was impressed..
They have great drinks & dessert. I will definitely be back.
Went for lunch with a group of friends and had a nice meal. The sangria and mojitos were pretty good. Everyone enjoyed their meals - we had sandwiches, pork, and seafood dishes. The great thing about going at lunch was that our meals were no more than $9-$14/person. I would definitely go back. I'd love to check it out at night when there is music and dancing.
