Very tasty, fall-off-the-bone ribs! The Buffalo chicken tenders weren’t great, and the sides were fine but nothing to get excited about. So – surprise, surprise – you should get ribs when you go to Rib City.
Nice place, spaced out.... we ordered the feast for two combo .... huge, it should feast for three at least. Great service
Ribs are AWESOME! The sides could use a little work. Service is always good. Pretty fast service too.
Tenderest pork steak in town; it's a generous size packed with flavor. Baby back ribs are also yummy. I like the sweet and smokey sauce. They'll sprinkle cinnamon on your applesauce if you like. And there's a senior citizen discount. I love that they'll bring my order out to my car, wearing mask and gloves. This place is a gem!
Our hearts are breaking! We have been getting barbecue from Rib City for years! Not sure what we will do without Rib City. It’s been a great place to get a good meal for a reasonable price for so many people. We want to thank all the Rib City staff for great service, and friendly smiles every visit! We will miss your pork steaks and baby back ribs. I’m sure that it will take us quite a while to get over this huge loss!
First time here. Busy place. Waitresses were very actively taking care of the customers which was refreshing. Had a huge pork steak. Nice and tender. Many other choices available. The family ordered some desserts. The pie and cake slices were super sized as well. We will be back !
They have a huge pork steak everyone loves. My favorite sweet tea.The Best hooked up salad on my top of my list of favorites. Great customer service. The Manager is sweet and always on her game. Definitely worth trying anything on the menu.
Excellent food. As an out of state health inspector visiting Missouri I need to add that this is one of the cleanest kitchens and restaurants I have ever seen in my 30 years in public health. Outstanding. Covid-19 protections and place. Spacing of tables. All very well done. State-of-the-art! And delicious.
I honestly had low expectations for this place based on the name, but was pleasantly surprised to find a real BBQ joint.
During my visit I was able to try both Baby Backs and Spare Ribs in addition to the Beef Brisket.
Everything had a great smokey flavor with the charred finish from a grill.
The only real downside was that the meat tended to be on the dry side. The worst offender was the brisket which had plenty of flavor but was probably sliced a little too thin for its own good.
As for the ribs, I've always been partial to spare ribs, which had plenty of meat here and were the most moist of everything I tried. The baby back ribs had a more intense grilled flavor than the spares, but smaller a little drier.
The sides all seemed homemade and I give them a lot of credit for that. Though the coleslaw I had was pretty unremarkable, the baked beans had some real character. My wife liked them more than I did, but they were definitely original. The sweet potato fries were just fine, though perhaps could have used more seasoning.
Overall if are looking for decent BBQ, especially in West County where your options are limited, I would certainly give Rib City a try.
This place has very good food, especially the flat breads and house salad with salmon. The service was out of this world and the waiters were very impressive. Their hospitality was exceptional. Their prices too were very fair and affordable to everyone. Highly recommend!!
