Great tacos and a friendly staff. Some of the best I’ve had in Des Moines - moist and flavorful meat and great tortillas served with all the proper fixings. Salsa options are great as well.
Wish they had Mexican coke in the glass bottles though!
Don’t be fooled driving by, we had some seriously good tacos here. Just don’t expect something like Taco (B)Hell or any other watered done Americanized chain store selling what they call Mexican food. This is REALLY good authentic Mexican fare. We had pescado, camaron, al pastor, lengua, tripas, and azada tacos on corn tortillas… ALL amazing. My 12 year old asked to go a second time on the same day!! …. This would be a regular stop if we lived in Des Moines. Sadly we don’t. But it’ll be a reason to visit more frequently. FYI, It is cash only.
Finally made it back for another go… we tried the tacos de Tripas, cabeza, pollo, puerco, pescado, asada, and a steak burrito… All were amazing. But if I had to pick… tacos de cabeza would win the day hands down… just amazing!! We fed 3 people on $26 and were were all very full ! Try that at McDonald’s!!!
Fast service, great food and friendly staff! Prefer this taco truck over all the others. They always have the meat we want for our tacos and I just love how I don't have to wait very long to get my food.
Best tacos and burritos in Des Moines! They catered my high school graduation party as well and it was such a hit with the guests. Good prices and even better food!
Honestly the best tacos I've had since moving to the Des Moines area 5 years ago. Even my daughter ate the onions on the tacos and still loved it! Will be our weekend spot from here on out.
This is absolutely amazing food!!! They are very friendly and the taste quality is spectacular!!! We definitely make a stop anytime we are in Des Moines!!! Stop and eat you will not be sorry!!!
