These people have always treated me well here. I really hate seeing how some of the idiotic reviews on here are from irrate people who thought that "have it your way" was actually a good slogan to start their self-entitlement status here in Des Moines. I almost guarantee these people are also the ones that have never worked retail or in a restaurant. Btw, I worked downtown in the Hub for a bit. These are everyday people like you and me, and those people sleeping at the tables might be some poor souls with no where else to go. They don't deserve to be a part of your slamdown reviews... Take this review and take-in or take-out... But if you ask the employees there nicely, they'll gladly remake your order. (Переведено Google) Эти люди всегда хорошо относились ко мне. This place needs to be visited by The Health Department. I plan on contacting them today. I have a photo taken on 8/6/18 Between 9am-9:30am of an employee in the kitchen area wearing a white tank top and shorts. This person was also handing out food. As far as the service. It took 5 minutes for somebody to take my order. Then after waiting 10 minutes for my order I was told it would be another 15 minutes because I ordered Biscuits. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.

The manager on the evening shift almost called the police on me and a Male customer because we both walked to the restrooms at the same time. Story: there are separate men's and women's restrooms. Both doors are locked because they only open them for paying customers. There were two gentlemen waiting for food. I wait at the counter for a couple of minutes while the manager deliberately ignores me (she even looked over her shoulder) and proceeded to have a conversation with the other staff. Finally I say "excuse me, may I order a drink?" she turns around looking extremely annoyed and asks what size. I get my drink and walk to the bathroom, only to find the bathroom locked. One of the male customers walks to the men's door and finds it locked too. He thought maybe someone was already in there. I go to the desk and ask to have the doors open. She says, "well, you need a key to get in." I'm thinking obviously, but I smile and ask politely to have such key. She tosses it on the counter. I rush to the bathroom with the gentleman behind me. I unlock the women's door and give the key to the gentleman. I go in and do my thing, but I can hear my friends talking about me outside the door. Then I hear the gentleman's friend knocking on the men's door asking, "do you have a girl in there?!" I hear him yell back "no". I wash up and come out to find my friend looking a little worried. I walk over and she says, "she was going to call the police." "What?" I said, very confused. "Yeah, she was threatening to call the police because she thought you two were in the same bathroom together!" "What??? Are you serious??" I look over and the manager is talking with the staff again acting like nothing happened. No explanation, no apology. I was mortified. It made a good story to tell the rest of my friends, but I feel my reputation was little tainted by this manager, and I was completely embarrassed at that time. I will never set foot in there again. The staff was so rude, ignored people at the counter, and was threatening to call police for no apparent reason (I'm thinking something must of happened in the past, but that is no way to threaten someone like that).

Food was fine. Employee argued loudly with a customer over some nonsense, underneath the fountain machines was constant flowing water, every table was gross, there was a weird smell and a bizarre constant sound. Also took 10 minutes for anyone to work the cash register. Paid 2 dollars for a meal though

If I could give this zero stars I would. Place is nasty and gross. I love Burger King and this one is like 500 feet from me but I'll rather drive miles to a decent one with great service and fresh hot food. This place needs to employees and new management. If the company cares for the people this place would be flipped upside down in a heart beat. It became a flocking ground for young teens to hang out and made the place look ghetto. Please change the policy how long ppl can hang out and make the food fresh to order hot and have the cheese melting on the burgers not cold ass cheese. This place has serious potential for business ppl to come and eat but now a lot more places are opening up and I see this Burger King closing. Only thing it has going is ope till midnight.
