I had food and drink here. The drinks were a strawberry mango mule and a fruit smash, both were very good. My wife had a pineapple mule, also very enjoyable. The food had by my wife and I was mediocre at best. We started with pretzel sticks, the pretzels we pretty good, the cheese sauce seemed like something out of a nacho cheese pump, it distracted from the pretzels. I had the Tommy B Tenderloin (breaded) it had good flavor, it was very small for tenderloin standards, barely covered the bun; it was pounded a bit too thin and was somewhat dry. As I side I paid a $1.99 upcharge for Mac and cheese; it was very bland, almost flavorless, a major disappointment. My wife had the Caprese chicken sandwich with tots. Again, the sandwich had good flavor. However, the chicken was small in size, did not cover the entire bun, and was thin and a bit dry. The tots were decent with a nice crunch but had a lukewarm temperature. The service was excellent, we are debating whether to give them another try. This was our first visit to Wellman's. The picture is a drink on the menu; we did not try it, but it sounded good and we loved the name.

The spinach-artichoke dip was too rich, the Cuban sandwich was not a Cuban (served on a French roll), and the lettuce wrap had a strong out-of-the jar Teriyaki sauce flavor. Combine the sub-par food with the obnoxious acoustics and it was not enjoyable. HOWEVER, the place was packed with a lot of people having a nice time. Maybe it’s just not our place.
