So we decided to give the new place a try. We were frequent flyers of the original and loved and hated it. Mostly really poor service but we loved the atmosphere and the drinks so we let the service slide as we were typically never there when we were in any kind of hurry. So we showed up on day two, sat at the bar and really enjoyed chatting with the bartender and a couple of the servers. Nice gang! Ordered a couple of our old favorites from the cocktail menu. Sadly the drinks seem to be a little on the weak side. Barely knew it was a Bourbon cocktail. Hopefully just an off night…time will tell. Food was generally very good! Although I ordered the smash burger and it was literally these really small smash burgers in the middle of the bun. Aren’t smash burgers literally supposed to hang over the bun. Really disappointed and pretty overcooked and dry. The other sandwich we ordered was the blackened tilapia and that was fantastic!!! All and all a good trip and we will certainly be back…just hoping they maybe work on a few things , find real consistency and keep improving. Glad to have them back! Also…bring back the Wild Monk!

This place needs to board up and never reopen. They closed a few years ago and relocated but still suffer from the same problem. There is a clear lack of management. service is *always* slow (or non existent, if the waitress has important calls to take) and the food comes out cold. Only good experience I've had is sitting at the bar and having a drink. On one occasion when I gave Continental a try again we sat for about 20 minutes watching multiple waitresses walk by and not even bother to look at our table. Finally a lady walks up, but not to take our order. To give us business cards! For a new restaurant opening up across town. Will never go again, would strongly advise no one else does either. 0/10 ✋️

Wow! Amazing food, and the shared plates are perfect for two. Visited during lunch on a weekday, and quickly got seated. Their melon prosciutto bruschetta is wonderful, and the spicy meatballs great. I wish the poutine would have had more cheese, but still tasted good. Highly recommended!

Tasty food and great drinks. The jazz music is great if to stumble on it. The poutine is the best in the city, best I have ever had. I dream about it. Another place in East Village that is closed on Sunday too, why? I would also recommend having a calendar of music, I've had several conversation with staff that had no idea when they have music, like it is magic or something very odd.

Amazing drinks. Good food. Terribly long wait for wait staff. Took 10 minutes before someone came to take our order. 20 minutes before our drinks came. 15 more minutes before our food finally arrived. I'd definitely go again, though. The food and drinks were that good. It was worth the wait. The only food I remember was the poutine. It was more than acceptable. Pictured is a lavender drink in the foreground. Their "London Fog" (hot) in the background. Both were spectacular.

My favorite hangout in East Village. It's a combination of the original brickwork, eclectic decor, the skilled bartenders and the cocktail assortment. The food is reliably good as well. The $6 sangria is refreshing taste and price-wise. At my last visit I tried a Pimm's Cup - prepared perfectly and beautiful too.

What a wonderful place to visit! We had the pleasure of being waited on by Bradley, and he was the perfect host. A solid East Village venue, and you need to try this place at least once. Atmosphere is unique with cool decore. Eat local!

Great place for couples but not so much for groups. The decor has that old school vibe. The food was great, focusing mainly on small plates and sandwiches. The bathrooms however fell short of the mark.
