Cook-out

My burger was literally made to perfection! Hot, fresh, and had all the the toppings I requested correctly. It was delicious! Oh & the staff are so jolly! Even through the drive-thru speaker you can hear how happy their personalities are and that they love their job! Love coming to places like this where the food AND the staff are great! Keep up the good work crew!

Love this location! Staff is always friendly and my order is always perfect! Every time I’m in town I stop by and grab some dinner with my husband and our 4 kids. The littlest loves to eat a lot so we always get her a couple of bbq sandwiches and she loves them!! We love to grab milkshakes after the boys baseball games! Thanks for making us feel like family!!!!

If I could give one star 0 stars I would the way I was treated tonight was unacceptable the girl had the worst attitude when I ordered food and gave her money. She basically threw my money at me and slammed the window. Not only that after being rude my order was wrong so I go back for my fries and I walk in and she goes that girl is back for her fries . No I’m sorry or anything a gentlemen walked up and said I didn’t have to pay and I left . Some of the people who work here need to work on their customer service .

Place has changed so much in the past few years. Used to be a solid 5☆, but can't blame the change on COVID bc it was going downhill fast before that. Now you're lucky if you ever get all your food, but forget any sauces. You can ask at the speaker, at the window, and verify again they're in the bag, but they NEVER are.

Changing my rating from 5 stars to 3. This is because when I placed my order the cashier who took my order cut me off while I was ordering so she didn't hear me say 'cookout tray'. I pull up to the window to pay, and I ask to make the order a tray instead of the items separate bc it's less expensive that way. I didn't think it was a big deal to make the items a tray, but she became very agitated and told me rudly I need to specify its a tray multiple times. Then when I was handed my order she said very sarcastically to have a good day.

For fast food, you really can't get better than Cook Out. I live in another state, so we don't have Cook Out there, and every time I come to visit family up here in NC, I can't wait to go to this Cook Out. The food tastes like actual food, really, and it's MUCH cheaper than other fast food places. Compared to other fast food, that tastes like pre-fab made-from-frozen mass produced junk, Cook Out actually tastes like food from a backyard barbeque at your neighbor's or something. The burgers are great and fresh. The pulled pork sandwich is my favorite. The hush puppies are a must, and the fries are great, but the cajun fries are way better. The shakes are great as well, I've had a couple different ones and they're all good. The *only* complaints I have about this location is that sometimes the lines are extremely long and slow - I think it's partially because they seem to be understaffed, and the employees seem to be having to do too much work per person, at some of my visits, I felt really bad for the employees because it would be like, just two of them trying to run the whole place. And their speaker system (or really, the headsets that go with it) at the drive-thru doesn't work very - every time I've been here, the order-taker can't hear very well because of some kind of issue with the headsets, it seems. But yeah, the customer service is still pretty good most of the time, most of the people that work there are quite friendly. So, if you're looking for something fast, cheap, and delicious, this Cook Out is the place to go.
