The place is spacious and comfortable, it consists of an indoor area where the restaurant and the bar are and a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake, the team is very friendly and the food is incredible, I think I have tried everything on the menu and I love everything 💕 if you don't know which drink to choose, the bartenders always make accurate recommendations, they have an extensive menu of incredible food and drinks
In addition to this, they have trivia Thursdays and karaoke Fridays every week!!! a wonderful place to go and spend and amazing day
The Local in Tava Waters has many great entrees and appetizers. I've eaten here many times. Their menu changes seasonally. I like the French Dip and their pasta never disappoints. Highly recommend them for a quick bite or a night out with friends.
This place is really great! Only been open month from when I posted this review. I had the local-telli chicken (picture attached). This place is within the Tava but just grab a reservation on open table to get in. This place is WELL worth getting in for a new place. Have the Bonfire if you're a fan of old fashioned. Great local food and drinks. Ask for Evan the owner he was fantastic. Can't say enough about how good this place is!
I moved into Tava Waters over a year ago and The Local has been such a fun, welcoming place to come hang out at. They have great food and beverages and I have always felt welcomed here. The bartenders, owners and cooks are so kind and accommodating. I’ve made so many good friends here! Would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Love the food and service!!!! Always different items to choose from, great and talented cafe. This is the child's cheese pizza, look at that cheese! It did that for each slice!!
Had sliders, fries and peach cider. Sliders were good, fries were great. Loved the cider. Sat outside. Beautiful patio. Service was excellent. Price was reasonable. Would definitely go back.
10 out of 5! This place was great for my small family of three. Miss Sarah was our waiter and she was fantastic, on the ball with food and drinks. our little one ate most of her cheese burger huge yay for us and got her food first and with enough time to cool off and be cut before our food came. I had a cup of tomato bisque that was great and my husband enjoyed his French dip with fries. Our food came out hot and was delicious. Not only will we be coming back, but I would recommend it. The price is worth it.
I always have a great experience here, it has become my new "go-to" spot for a happy hour martini and a bite to eat. Haley always takes great care of me and my friends/family I bring in. Sarah and Evan, two of the owners, never fail to check in on me and ensure I'm enjoying my drinks and food. Lately the kitchen has been switching things up and serving up some amazing specials. Last week I indulged in the jalapeño poppers served with a strawberry jam that was TO DIE FOR. Love this place, and will remain a loyal regular. Definitely give it a go!!!!
*UPDATE: Unfortunately I have to update my review. I am not sure what has happened here since summer time but the food and quality has absolutely gone down the drain. Their food is something like a microwaved snack bar now. They used to have such amazing food. Hopefully they make the right changes for fall. Still a wonderful place for drinks and atmosphere. But the food options are a joke at the moment.*
Always incredible service and they continuously show that they really care about their customers!! The food is so amazing and love the vibe/atmosphere both inside and outside. Can’t recommend The Local enough!
SMALL AND LOCAL OWNED. Owner works at the bar is great and super friendly. This restaurant is one you CANT miss out on. You NEED to try the wings. Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wild Wings do not even compare. With their crisp outer shell and soft inside, you can take all the meat off the bone in one bite but still end in a crunch. Looking for a quick drink? They also have a great bar selection and would be a great place for date night or an evening with some coworkers. Must try this place!
