This is a wonderful place to visit with the family, a first date or just to get out of the house. Has wonderful and exotic plant life. As well as different bug species and types. There are so many attractions inside and out for adults and kids. Also has a library where you can purchase books. Families and kids would love it here.
This is the second time that I have come here over the past two years. Definitely better to come in the summer, fall, or spring. It’s always a great experience coming here. The staff is incredibly nice and is willing to go out of there way to make our experience perfect.
Went to the gardens for their Blossom of lights during Christmas & it was amazing. I see why they sell out fast. The lights were so beautiful, oh and make sure to get the hot chocolate it was very yummy. Hope to go back the next time I visit during Christmas.
Parking is limited in the complementary parking lot across the street. So plan to spend some time finding parking. We visited on a weekend evening to see the blossom of the lights. Walking through a well directed path and there were plenty of staffs who were ready to assist with a smile. Our kids really enjoyed the lights. Overall, it is a great place for spending few hours with the kids and family.
I’ve never been during one of the seasons, but I do have a yearly pass and I say it’s worth it! My favorite area is the inside garden area. They have so many beautiful plants to see, and it’s a pretty big botanical garden so you’ll be there around 1hr-1hr30mins. You’ll see butterfly’s, bees, so many insects enjoying the plants as well.
Love visiting whenever I get the chance. I took a stroll recently with visiting family and had a wonderful time. The selection of flowers and plants is amazing and so diverse. There's always so much to look at. I usually take about 3 hours in the gardens but you could easily go through it in a little more than an hour.
It was crowded when I last visited but you could only tell in the cafe and other indoor areas. Its never too bad though. The whole place is super clean and all the workers are nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area
I am new to Denver and just recently been able to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens. Once during the fall event and again during the Christmas lights. I love that they sell tickets for time slots so you are able to enjoy the gardens without the huge crowds but purchase early because they sale out quickly but all is totally worth it. I went during the day for fall and the fall colors were on fire. Night time for the Christmas lights was absolutely gorgeous! There is a free parking garage. Staff is amazingly friendly and promise a good time. I highly recommend a visit!
Awesome botanical garden. Worth the trip and often easy to get cheap tickets. I think bank of America gives free tickets once a month to card holders. Fun day to spend our go on a date. You can even bring your own food for a picnic which is one of my favorite things to do there. Plus cheese man park is next door so you get two awesome activities in one.
How fun was this place?! $15 a person which almost felt like a steal because the woman who checked us out was so excited for us to be there! They decorated for Halloween which was awesome because they had clever punny tombstones and a ski inspired skeleton scene. There’s lots to see and different themed areas, they even had lights and skeleton decorations throughout. I wish we could’ve come at night to see everything illuminated but we went in the afternoon and still had a great time!
I had such a lovely time here at the gardens! When my friend and I came here, I thought we would only spend an hour and a half at most. We ended up staying for three hours and was able to get lunch and coffee here! The plants here are phenomenal and breathtaking. I have not felt more at peace than being here. We also saw so many pollinators here like honey bees and butterflies! This is definitely a must place to visit in the Denver area.
