This is called Highline lounge now. Cyndi was an exceptional bartender and a friendly face to welcome me to the neighborhood. A great no frills dive bar that offers pool, draft beer, and good company. I will be back again next time I'm in town.
Love this place. A great, dive-y, neighborly, place. Awesome prices, friendly staff & friendly people. Do not come here looking for great bar food, I would consider it offered more so as a courtesy rather than necessity. White Castle burgers and small pre made pizzas. Nothing wrong with it at all, just don't expect food service while here as it is primarily focused on cocktails and pool with limited food options. Laura is my favorite bartender but they're all very nice! Laura is by far the greatest bartender at this place and I have been waited on by all daytime and evening bartenders here several times.
If you are looking for this bar, the new name is Highline Lounge. It's my local bar that I like going to. They are a small bar with great patrons. It's not a full bar, but they still have some kind of selection. They have a small patio for smoking or vaping, where you can take your drinks out with you. They have 2 pool tables and most of the time you can find someone to play with that have similar or better skill level. They have televisions to view games all year around. In the mornings, they offer different entertainment on the televisions like game shows, movies, or other TV programs that the regular patrons like to watch in the morning. Depending on the time and the bartender, the lighting is awkward.
This is a great little dive bar. Small place, but lots of fun. The people are great, as are the bar tenders. They are extremely friendly and great at what they do. The sometimes have afternoon bingo on Saturdays. If you're in the area, try it out.
My absolute favorite dive bar in the area. Great group of regulars, great staff, and good heavy pouring on the cocktails. Laura is the absolute best bartender. Pre-covid, they regularly did bingo on Saturdays too. Restrooms need a lot of work. But hey, it's still a dive bar.
Why do my favorite bars all have carpeting that looks like it was installed (and NOT cleaned) since 1946? No matter. First time I went here was a Saturday afternoon when they were doing Bingo, for Gods sake, and "family feud." I have not laughed so hard with strangers in my whole life. Cheap cold beer, hard drinks all hand poured, wonderful bartenders that put most other bars around here to shame, and you could come here in your pajamas or robe and no one would bat an eye LOL. Just a silly, dirty dark old place. Wish there were 100 more like this. Check snotty attitudes at the door, please.

Mugsy's bar is a small local bar off if Mississippi & Parker Rd. Very friendly staff and customers. From the first day I walked in there, everyone has made me feel welcome. It is now my favorite local hangout.
There are 2 pool tables, a few games and a juke box. They always have a game on all the t.v's, and are more than happy to put on any game you would like to watch. As long as they can get it. The do have wifi and a patio out back that you can bring your drink and have a smoke if you'd like. It is a small bar, but never seems to be overly crowded. I don't think they serve food, but will let you bring in or have delivered whatever you want.
I highly recommend Mugsy's bar if your looking for a laid back place to get together with friends and be able to have a conversation, a few drink, and a lot of laughs.
Mugsy's is under new ownership and has been rebranded as the Highline Lounge. The interior is fresh and updated with 2 pool tables and some cute bartenders. The food is good and the cocktails are wet. Recommend
The new owners did a great job renovating, now called Highline. Great spot, super chill, inexpensive cocktails. Awesome neighborhood spot!!
