First timer to DPC and very much impressed! Went with two of the signature bowls and the ingredients were very fresh and tasty. Can definitely tell that the fish has not been frozen as they claim and the mix of flavors and textures come out very well. Portions are solid for the $15/bowl price and the staff was on point, especially just before closing time. Logistic note: you can’t order online past 5:30, but walk-in was still available.
This is a very small poke shop just north across the street from the REI downtown.
I only give 5 star if it's Food worth coming back for every chance for I got! The bamboo rice is new to me, and pair that with citrus pozu is 🔥 Sooo Good!
This is almost the same as getting a poke bowl in Hawaii! Love it! Highly recommend them and worth visiting if you’re in the area. Thank you to the great staff as well!
I'm not a seasoned poke bowl eater, but this is the best poke bowl I've had in a long time. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the flavor combinations were just right. It has a small interior with limited seating, so it would be good to take and eat in a park or elsewhere.
This is an awesome poke spot, the thing with poke is that it's hard to get good poke without becoming poor. This place rides that balance, great poke, great price. The staff was awesome too, very friendly and we had a good and friendly conversation! I plan on returning and you should plan on coming for the first time!
The best poke bowl I have ever had in my life, by far. Quality of fish, topping selection, customer service, everything blown previous experiences out of the water. I actually could’ve believe this place didn’t have a solid 5 stars. Incredible all around. Doesn’t get better than this, folks.
Denver Poke Company has been my go to place for poke for a while. It's hard to find another poke place that has the level of touch in everything that goes into the poke bowl. I overheard the owner say one time "I would never serve anything that I did not think was delicious". At first listen/read, this may sound a bit pompous but it really is true. There was not one time that I ordered a bowl here and thought "I wish this was different". You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. I would honestly give it more stars if I could. I would say the only downfall I can really think of is that during typical busy hours (Fridays, Saturdays, and after work hours), the parking can be a bit difficult as there is only street parking available (or expensive lot parking) on the very busy "Platte Street" but still totally worth it.
The flavors are amazing! The poke is fresh and has a great clean taste. Would highly recommend to everyone looking for an authentic Poke experience. We even got takeout and it was 🔥
Gluten free eatery
I ordered the small bowl, great portion for the price.
Parking was hard to find, we spent more time finding parking then at the shop picking out our items for the bowl.
I liked that they had different kinds of items to add on.
The staff could use a training on just being more welcoming, pleasant, nice, patient. When I would ask what something was, there were a couple of scoffs (as if I should already be knowledgeable about the items), I dismissed the rudeness and still asked because I was traveling through and wanted to give the food a shot.
Food was fresh!
Sauces were “ok”.
Variety of items to add to bowls were many.
Seating is minimal (inside and outside).
Because there were 3 different staff that slid my build a bowl through the line, wish the staff was more pleasant to be around.
Great poke in Denver. Would absolutely recommend. The location is small, but the there are plenty of build your own options at a reasonable price.
