I just keep finding these gems where I have lived my whole life. Lou's is an amazing find. Right when I walked in I knew I would love it. I had the Hot Italian, and I was right. I loved it. It was pretty busy when I went in at 245PM. Now I know why. I can't wait to make it back. A definite must for any Italian lover!
Oh my... I will absolutely be back for more sandwiches. We ordered the porchetta with broccoli rab, the chicken cutlet, and I think it's the Lou's special? Like a traditional cold cut sandwich. My favorite was the porchetta. So flavorful and the bread was delicious. I recommend ordering ahead of time. The wait was... A wait.. but totally understandable because they are busy.
Wow!!!! Lou’s is amazing!! The Louie is the best Italian sandwich we’ve had, and we travel a lot!! The cookies and cannoli were perfect too!! Craving them every day!!
Supercute building, with an extensive menu of Italian deliciousness (my favourite!)
I loved the al dente cook on my orecchiette + broccoli rabe & sausage, but it was a little soupy and the light garlic sauce wasn't sticking to anything - adding the marinara from our shared toasted ravioli made it *perfect*
I'll look forward to trying more of the menu on further Denver adventures!

Cute patio (and coming from Texas, I *love* that the weather is pleasant enough to even make patio seating a consideration!!) but the neighborhood is, ummm, *interesting*
I had a delicious roast beef horseradish sandwich here. It included an excellent horseradish aoili, delicious muenster, and a delightful amount of actually tasty mixed greens that did not taste like cardboard. Roast beef was perfect. Wish they were here in Fort Collins where I live. Great deli! Go check it out!
Beautiful place with super tasty food and cheerful people in an unlikely location. I’d go out of my way to get food from here again. Lots of fun ancillary items to consider buying also. Quite a treat
As a New Yorker I’ve been to many Italian delis this one feels and tastes like I’m back in New York. Definitely one of the best sandwiches I’ve had outside the east coast everything was tasty and fresh. Jason was very nice and helpful with ordering. I will definitely be back
I have had several items on the menu. I’m a fan. Top notch ingredients arranged in great recipes. The quality is great. As is the service. Not a pizza Italian restaurant. A wonderful Americanized Italian deli. With quality imported goods. Employees are very helpful. Cleanliness is obviously important to everyone. I had to try the Foie gras potato chips. I liked them.
I’ve been here a few times now and it has been fantastic every time. I can’t recommend this place enough the food is awesome. It’s a little pricey but definitely worth it.
