Great coffee shop with good coffee and food. Spacious to use as a work place. The only downside is the windows are south facing and get intense sun all day during the winter. Sounds like they're not interested in getting some type of blinds. Sometimes if I can't find a spot out of the sun, which makes it tough to work on a laptop facing it or away from it, I end up going somewhere else which is unfortunate because I really like the place

We had the affogato, it was delicious. You can't tell by my face, but I enjoyed myself here!

This is the place to be if you need to get some work done and have great coffee/tea/food. The vibe is very chill even with a full house. The staff are the kind of people who actually look you in the eye with a big smile on their faces.

Good vibes, nice and roomy....feels inviting. Just like the 80's all over again, the neighborhood coffee hang out!
My weakness was the double-chocolate muffins; had two! Also, my organic-soy cappuccino was the perfect temperature and high quality, roasted beans. Yummy pairing of flavors. (sorry no photos on food, I goobled it all up)

Common Grounds is a great little neighborhood spot to stop in and hang out for a bit or to stay and get some work done. They've got room to spread out, great selection and decently priced drinks.
They offer lots of different choices like coffee, lattes, smoothies and different teas, as well as ice cream. We tried the iced coffee, and they roast their own, so you can really taste the quality on its own. They also had a variety of sandwiches that looked really good, and they have a small selection of beer and wine as well.
There is one wall that's full of books to peruse while you're there, and some board games in the back as well. The place has more of a chill working vibe- almost every other person besides us was sitting alone with a laptop while we were there-- it was a pretty quiet place on a Saturday afternoon. There was some seating outside, but very little shade cover for the Colorado sun.
We will definitely be back to this unique spot!

Arrived around 12:30 pm on a warm, sunny Saturday and stayed for an hour.
I ordered an Americano, which was tasty, and enjoyed the quiet environment with good level music playing. The music choice was excellent, with some live hits and summer vibes to it.
The place was 30% full, had good internet, clean bathrooms and filtered self-serve water. The tables were accommodating enough, although I'd probably look elsewhere if I wanted to work several hours.

Not gonna lie, the free empanada with check-in was a big factor in my choosing to come here on a Sunday morning to do some work on my laptop. And boy am I glad I did.
I didn't expect this coffee shop to be so unique. Both their pastry and coffee options are interesting, to say the least. I grew up in Argentina, so I was truthfully expecting some authentic empanadas. However, this place stays true to the Colorado hipster feel by adding its own fruit-flavored twist to them. I got the pineapple empanadas, but I wish I had enough room in my stomach to try them all.
They have some pretty unique, must-try flavors on their drink menu as well - the horchata ones piqued my interest. The staff noticed I was having a hard time deciding though, so they asked me if I wanted to be a guinea pig for their trial white chocolate raspberry latte. Can't say no to that.
Overall, this guinea pig was very impressed, was able to be productive for a couple of hours here, and would like to come back again to try everything else on the menu.

This is such a cute place! They have almond, soy, rice or coconut milk replacements. It is totally what it sounds like: a communal place that encourages you to share your tables and space with others. They have books, games, and great decor. The teas are yummy and not too sweet like so many others. It's also a great place to study or have a conversation.

This place is fabulous for large groups of people (ie. Book club). The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. They encourage patrons to interact and get to know each other through the set up. They offer a pretty large selection of coffee, espresso, tea, sandwiches and salads, and ice cream. Overall, their coffee is pretty good. I enjoy their espresso drinks as they are the perfect amount of sweetness and coffee. Their regular coffee drinks are decent. The coffee itself is not rich and does not have complex, colorful flavor. It's regular coffee that you can brew at home. The staff do not feel welcoming as the tone of voice they often employ sounds of boredom and annoyance. It they were to at least sound like they enjoy themselves, then the experience would be more enjoyable. It is important to mention that I have only visited in the evening, but still. Overall, I would still recommend as they still stand for community.

I absolutely LOVE this coffee place! The staff is so amazing and they are super sweet and welcoming. This coffeehouse is located near Umatilla St. which is close to where I work! Personally, it's super close in walking distance and also close to where I go to school- Regis University. It's a great place to get homework done. The atmosphere is quiet with not much noise from the cups customers order. They close at 9pm daily which is reasonable time. If you're a coffee lover like I am- do visit this place! It's totally worth a shot!
