This established exceeded my expectations and then some, everyone down to the artist and the servers were super awesome! My husband performed here and we had a great time. The layout is really cool, the bar is amazing and the atmosphere is just awesome, it also didn't hurt that there were other nice outdoor restaurants next to Syntax if you wanted to get your grub on.

Quirky. Dark. Strange vibes. Overall old school cocktail bar feel. Awesome interior design that makes you feel like you are in the parlour of a haunted house. I went here for a friend's birthday to see some funk musicians and swing DJs. Well worth it.

Awesome and bizarre no matter what time of day you visit. Great drinks great food options and happy hour specials. And the service is out of this world. The atmosphere is such that everybody there feels warm and like family even if you don't know them. We celebrated my friend's birthday there and it was the best time :-)

I've only been here once to perform in a benefit concert. The prices are a bit high for me personally, but you get what you pay for. I ordered one of the house specials, and it was delicious. They have interesting food choices that I wasn't quite familiar with, so I ordered a burger. When looking at the drink orders, I realized I wanted a Moskow mule, and when I informed the waitress, she said they could make one! It was very good. :) Overall, it was a lovely visit, and I'll need to return when I'm less nervous about performing.

Cozy and relaxed location! I visited Syntax to listen to a violinist performance, and it was quite packed, but the staff was able to accommodate everyone. Don't expect a full course meal here, there are great appetizer-like options here. I was very impressed by the range of flavors and just how everything was presented! Great place for a low-key evening.

Fun little spot. Good drinks. Music was fun (went for funk night). I like that it has a bar area where you can actually have a conversation and then a separate dancing area. The dance floor is on the small side but if it doesn't get too crowded it's not a problem.

This place is great. So many neat details in the decor. Great food, quality cocktails + nice venue for bands, comedy, and other entertainment. Make sure to check out the pistol display before reading the description - also follow the TV over the bar.

Holy Moly is THIS place cool!!
First off the staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the building - which is old Denver charming.
Then the Tacos (out of a very busy kitchen) were DELICIOUS.
Prices reasonable - totally going back.
Oh - AND they do Comedy Shows with excellent acts!
