The Griffin Tavern - Denver - Photo album

Many bars and restaurants deep in a hotel district like the Denver Tech Center are typically generic and average, but not the Griffin. For just a moment you're transported to a friendly neighborhood pub, with an upbeat atmosphere and very friendly staff. The food is very good, standard pub fair, but
It was one of the best burgers I have had. The char on meat was excellent, veggies were fresh, cheddar cheese was good, and bacon flavorful. The Sweet Potato Waffle Fries were crisp, not oily, and tasty. The price for quality and location in DTC was excellent. Chef and bartender were friendly and ve
Found this Griffin Tavern due to the Hound's Kitchen closing before 10pm... naturally we asked the Bar Tender of places to eat in the DTC with a Kitchen still Open. She gave 3 choices 2 of which are irrelevant since I've been to the other 2. But... Out of the 3 she said and I quote "Definitely Griff
Our host was spot on about making sure we had everything we needed. We tried the truffle fries, jam burger, and nachos. This is a classic dive bar spot in the DTC area. If you are looking for a spot that hits the spot and doesn’t break the bank check it out if your nearby. Burgers range from $13-
First time visiting Griffin Tavern. We had a fantastic experience. Great service, good food, and nice atmosphere. The highlight of our evening was meeting Zach, the GM, and the young man that runs the kitchen….(wish I would’ve gotten his name). Both young men went above and beyond to make sure we ha

I hardly write reviews but this young lady deserves to be recognized. Nowadays people do the bare minimum and it’s hard to get them to come back to your table after you already got one drink and food from them but my waitress this afternoon was impeccable, I believe her name was Ora. You could tell
This is a very good bar/tavern. The drinks were very good and moderately priced. I decided to get a small snack and I was very impressed. I ordered the side of greens (their version of a side salad) and some green chili, both dishes were incredible. The salad was much larger than a typical side
Easy to walk to/from Marriott hotel. Friendly and prompt service. Went here on a Wednesday night and was busy and lively. Chicken wings were great. Multiple TVs.
A great locals bar. They stay open late which is great for service industry. Who would have thought cheese curds with caramel sauce would be my new favorite thing. The bartenders are outstanding. Jen and Sean know their craft and are super friendly and inviting.
