This is our favorite place by far. Food is amazing and the owners/staff are super friendly! Our kids beg to eat here and we haven't had a dish that we didn't like.
This is about the 5th time I've been there and always have the tenderloin. I come from Iowa and really miss tenderloins. I've been to about 6 different places in the Denver area that serve tenderloins and this is the best one. Thank you Westword for the article. I usually bring a new person (s) with me and they love the place too.
hey wisconsinites! there a real cheese curds here served with ranch dressing. i didn’t try anything else, but these are worth the visit!
It took me so long to come here since they opened. I used to come to the BBQ join years ago before it went downhill. Great bar, great place to watch sports. That has not changed.
The food is really good too for Saturday/Sunday sports food.
The cheese curds are so good. The Brussels sprouts are good. The soup is good.
My favorite might be the Cobb salad though... Maybe the best Cobb salad I've had... I hear their burgers and pork sandwich is really good too. I'll be sure to try those soon as I lose my holiday lbs i just gained! ;)
If you are looking for a friendly place to grab a few drinks and some good food and watch your team win, this is a great spot!

Great experience at the Midwestern Saloon. This is a casual place, but we were very impressed. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the food. They have a good selection of Midwest comfort food. If you go, I recommend the cheese curds for an appetizer. If you are in the mood for a cheeseburger, DEFINITELY try the Juicy Lucy. It was one of my favorite burgers I've ever eaten!
I've been here several times with the family for the Pork Tenderloin. OMG. So delicious. The atmosphere is great although I wish they would paint it brighter. Nothing really POPS. ALL the food on the menu is fantastic as I've tasted all the plates. So good. Naturally football and Beer. The best place in Denver.
Food was quick and delicious.went with my 4 and 2 year old. Very affordable and great portion sizes. They have a decent kids menu and offered coloring pages and crayons. The cheese curds were just as good as when we get them back home in Wisconsin!
One of the best bars in Denver, and the best for sure west of Federal Blvd. Fantastic food, customer-focused staff and a crew of regulars that rivals Cheers. And apparently if you're from the midwestern US, you're gonna love the massive pork tenderloin which, for a southerner, is delicious but looks more like three meals at once. Highly recommend this place!
Best cheese curds in Denver! Everything we've had here has been great, from the savory sandwiches to the fresh salads to the simply delicious French toast for brunch!
Always a relaxed atmosphere and great service. And really, order the cheese curds. So good.
Came and ate several of their appetizers. Had the fried curd, fried brusselsprouts, and Mac and cheese with bacon. All were very tasty. Had a few pints. Waitress straight up told me one of the beers I ordered was taking a step down from the previous beer I ordered. She was right. Good food, good beer, good service.
Great service. Reasonably priced drinks and good selection of craft beers. Fish fry was delicious and the cheese curds were awesome ... lightly battered Wisconsin cheddar. We’ll be back!
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good drinks and great food! My fave was the mac and cheese, so yummy! We were there on music video Bingo night which was so much fun! Definitely a must stop im Denver!
