Jj Chinese Restaurant - Denver - Photo album

If you like "real" Chinese food, this is the place for you. Service was fairly quick, most things are not precooked. The hot and sour soup was great, we enjoyed all of dishes we ordered. You will notice 2 Chinese language newspapers in their entrance. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended, our
I went to JJ's late at night with a small group. The top 10 nearest Chinese places to me were all closed. The fact they are open late is enough for a positive review. If you dine in, you get house soup and a dessert. Everyone was happy with what they got, and the prices were great. If I were to
The food is always great here. They have dim sum, but it must be ordered, rather than seeing what the carts bring. They have live seafood tanks and sell a lot of whole fish, lobster and crab. It is an extensive menu and includes some 'American' dishes. The place seems pretty authentic and seems l
I was lucky to only wait 10 minutes for a seat! This place is justifiably popular.Cash only, old-world Denver, CO atmosphere, and fantastic dishes.Started off a glass of Avignon Blanca and a small order of the off-menu mishmash, which was positively buttery.Next was a Combination Cocktail, which incl
The food here was the best authentic and exotic Chinese I had found in Denver. I took my family here when they visited from out of town. Sadly, my favorite Cantonese restaurant has CLOSED ITS DOORS. New owners are replacing it with "Yummy Szechuan"
Really authentic Chinese dishes! There are live seafood in tanks by the door and it can be a nasty odor. I like the hot pot specials and their stir fried lobster with ginger and scallions. Service can be a hit or miss. The decor is atrocious.
Very traditional, not Americanized, hole-in-the-wall Cantonese restaurant. Chinese-style service means you will have to get the waiter's attention for ordering and water refills, and don't feel bad about needing to do so. If you're up for adventurous food, try their chilled beef tendon appetizer, se
If you're looking for authentic Chinese food, this is your place. We all spend so much time at the "dime a dozen" Chinese places, and we forget that we're eating an Americanized version of Asian food. Think of an authentic Mexican restaurant and then think of Taco Bell. That's the same comparison
Best sesame chicken in Denver!! Fabulous special menu deal after 9:30 pm and fun wait staff (except the grumpy one!). This is a legit chinese restaurant with live fish and lots of authentic menu items, like bamboo fungus and cow stomach "honeycomb". Get past that and it's all delish! Our favorite ch
First, when you enter the restaurant, you will be greeted by tanks of fish. The food is authentic Taiwanese food and the restaurant is a lovely place to have dinner. Be sure to fill up on rice, as it is refillable.
This is probably the best Chinese Restaurant in Denver. Star Kitchen is a close 2nd. The house sauce lobster at Star Kitchen is the best in town but all other dishes are better at JJ's.
Good place for non-conforming Chinese food. Like the special tofu. Plenty off other dished than kung pao chicken or general tso chicken. Don't let the plain exterior look fool you.
Standard Cantonese food with live fish tanks. Excellent, must-try Roasted Pork. Pro is that it is open late.
This was the best and most quality endowed Asian food that it has ever been my pleasure to eat. I will be returning often and referring friends and family.
