THE BEST CAKE IN DENVER!!! Making nothing but magical perfection. Strawberry Lemonade, Heath Toffee, wedding cake and spice cake. Most delicious cake I've ever bought in my life!

I am SOOO happy Mermaids survived the pandemic! THE BEST cakes and cupcakes around. And these lovely ladies were so very gracious when they delivered EXACTLY what we asked for and we realized it was a little plain- they quickly and with smiles added more embellishment for us! You gotta try them!!

This place deserves more stars. I just went here and having family in the baking business and having made professional wedding cakes myself I can say this place is legit. The quality of both the cake and the Swiss meringue buttercream (which is wedding quality) is outstanding. If you like and appreciate high quality baked goods then be sure to stop by; I know I’ll be returning. Bonus: the owner is super kind and passionate about what she does as is true of her staff.

This is the best cupcake bakery in Denver! Their cupcakes are large, so you are getting a good two servings out of one cupcake. They did a great job at making the icing light and not too sweet, same with the cake. It doesn't make your teeth hurt with the amount of sugar. They also have some pretty unique flavors like strawberry lemonade which tastes exactly how it sounds. I was so impressed that I will definitely be coming back!

I love this place! The guests at my boys’ graduation party can’t stop raving about the cupcakes we had from Mermaids. They were delicious, beautiful,and creative. The owner was amazing and her husband delivered them on time and in perfect shape.

Mermaids is our go-to place for special occasion cakes or to quickly grab a couple of cupcakes from the showcase. They made a fantastic bone shaped cake (who does that?!!) for a family celebration. It was perfect, and I highly recommend. Their craftsmanship and customer service are A+ every time, plus I love knowing that I am supporting a local mom and pop establishment.

This place has some of the best frosting that i have ever had. It's not too heavy, it's not too sweet but you know that you are enjoying the sugary goodness of frosting. These cupcakes are extremely messy, do not try to eat in a car! I got the chocolate peanut butter cupcake and the chocolate dream. The chocolate peanut butter cupcake had tasty peanut butter frosting but the cupcake was just a regular chocolate not special about it. The chocolate dream was delicious and I probably should have only gotten this one, things I wish I knew before, but it was most and heavy and had just more flavor packed into the little cake.

This was my first time trying their cupcakes. My 9 y.o. daughter and I were in Denver looking for something sweet. I LOVE that their wedding day cupcakes aren’t too sweet, I hate when places have that “Walmart bakery” tasting frosting. The frosting on those cupcakes tasted just like my own homemade Swiss meringue buttercream! A lot more stable too! I had a taste of the red velvet and the chocolate dream and they were amazing! The woman working the front was so nice and helpful!

The best cupcakes ever!! The truest compliment to Jason and Mermaid were that the gluten free dairy free cupcakes we needed to accommodate our allergies were said to be the best cupcakes the wedding guests had ever had!! Jason truly worked with both my allergies and my husband's we are so happy with what we got the cupcakes were amazing!! Thank you!!! I am an out of state bride and we went with Mermaid without tasting the cupcakes and they did not disappoint at all!! Looked great and tasted even better!!
