Gb Fish And Chips

Best fish and chips in town, hands down! We don't live close by but if we're in the mood for fish and chips, this is the ONLY place we will go to and will make the drive. Seating is limited (small restaurant) and so is parking, so if you're going for dinner plan accordingly, but we have gone for lunch which seems to be better for accommodating both of these things. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

I recently tried GBS Fish and Chips in Denver and was blown away by the quality of the food. The prawns were particularly delicious, and the shepherd's pie was also amazing. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. I loved the traditional British feel, and it really added to the experience. The restaurant was clean, and the food was served promptly. Overall, I highly recommend GBS Fish and Chips to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious fish and chips experience in Denver. The quality of the food and the great service make it a must-visit for anyone looking for a tasty meal.

This is a great restaurant to grab food at in Denver. Obviously they’re known for their fish and chips, but they have other sides and food such as clam chowder, coleslaw bangers mashed potatoes, and a decent selection of Irish whiskeys. The prices are fair and you get a ton of food for the money. It’s totally acceptable to bring your kids here during the day. They also have an outdoor seating area outback. I’m unsure if you can bring your dog outside or not but it does seem that you can. Bathrooms are clean. The staff is super friendly food comes out faster than you would expect. Parking can get a little tight during the day. But as long as you show up at the right time, this will not be an issue. This is 10 out of 10 must visit when you were visiting Denver.

I can not say enough about this establishment! Not only is the food fantastic, the staff and owners are the most incredible people you will meet! I got the half sampler which came with scallops, shrimp, cod, tilapia, calamari and fries. (Pro tip- ask for the curry on the side to dunk your chips/fries!) The deep-fried fish were all SO crisp but with no oily texture or taste. I also got shepherds pie which had the creamiest mashed potatoes on top. 10/10 recommend!

I came in to order some food for my son. I ordered the half combination meal with fries for him. I ordered a second one for myself with mashed potatoes. I enjoyed the tartar sauce and Cocktail sauce that came with my meal. They were under staff this day. So it took a little bit longer and they almost forgot my cocktail sauce. We moved to SOBO less than a year ago and we have passed this place many times. We decided to stop and and we are thankful we did! The service provided by Javier and Lenny was exceptional. He explained the menu and helped us select awesome choices. The cod is cooked to perfection! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and piping hot! The fish is well seasoned and comes with the best tarter sauce! The combination had perfect tender calamari and scallops! I love coleslaw and theirs is so creamy and fresh. The portion sizes are perfect. We ordered half orders, so we can only imagine what a full order is like. The restaurant is on the first floor, easy parking and disabled friendly. They seem to be LGBTQ+ friendly. It feels like a safe place to eat, relax, and have a good conversation. We will definitely be back!
