We had an absolutely amazing dinner at The Nickel Denver this weekend! A very special thank you to the staff for the royal treatment & being so great with planning & prep for this special night of ours! • The Nickel houses a curated fine-dining menu in the heart of the historic boutique Hotel Teatro with stunnning characteristics & the most perfect vibes for me & 🤍 we can’t wait to return!

The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious, but seemed understaffed. Our waiter was excellent, but I felt bad watching him not only wait on us & all the other dine-in guests but also take all the room service orders up to hotel guests as well. We almost skipped eating here because the waiter was busy delivering a room service order so there was no one to seat us & we wondered if the restaurant had closed early. It pays to staff your restaurant properly!

Excellent bar with good drinks and a solid draft beer selection. The short rib burger was stellar. Biggest issue was how long it took to get our food. It took almost an hour to get one app of bread and butter and two dishes: the burger and a caprese salad. Had to eat fast to make sure we didn't miss our play.

This place is amazing. The service, ambiance, and food all we're amazing. We had the butter board, caprese salad, lamb, and creme brulee. Server was incredibly knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations. They made an excellent vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives even though it wasn't on the menu. Will absolutely be coming back.

One good reason: the Pecan Bourbon French toast casserole. Try this! You'll see what I mean!

If you’re looking for a restaurant that can take any dish and make it the best version you’ve eaten, look no further. I came in for the 2023 restaurant week menu, which is highlighted in the photos. The balance of flavors, while allowing each dish to shine individually, was executed flawlessly. The raviolo made my mouth water more with every bite, and the beet salad presented so playfully I couldn’t help but smile when it was set in front of me. The duck was rich and juicy, and I wish I could have taken home a bucket of the turnip purée. I’m usually skeptical about seafood in landlocked states, but the scallops were fresh and tender. You can never go wrong with a chocolate espresso tart, and my tastebuds were buzzing the moment the kumquat crème brûlée hit my tongue! The wine pairing complimented the dishes perfectly. If you don’t get a chance to come in this week, I could write pages on their other menus. A dish as simple as their Steel Cut Oats is something I crave regularly. On top of the incredible items created by their culinary team, the front of house staff is affable and attentive. The atmosphere is calm, while never feeling the service is slow. It is the perfect spot for anything from a morning business meeting to a special anniversary dinner. I can’t wait to come back in!

We had the best time. Our bartender was attentive and fun. When we first went in it was quiet and a beautiful set up. We came back later that evening and it was a hopping place. The bartender was great making sure all were taken care of. They have a great wine list, crafty cocktails, and the cannolis had surprisingly different and fantastic taste. The lemon and blueberry took the dessert to a whole new level. Stop by this place

Upscale dining and prices. Quality was fantastic. Portions were small but good for sharing. The table shared the beet carpaccio, charcuterie board, rhubarb gazpacho, crab cakes, sweet potato, and raspberry tart for dessert.
