Review Parisi - Denver

Mason King
Parisi is a great spot to grab some tasty Italian fare. You order at a counter and then sit down and the food is brought out to you. They also bring very tasty bread in a basket and there is olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the tables so you can get however much you like to dip. The pesto pastas are great. There is also a little dessert shop within the restaurant with cannolis.

Easily top 3 Italian in Denver. Easily. And not only because of the delicious pizza, or the wide variety of pastas and risottos, also because they do the most Italian thing you can do - let you chat and enjoy yourself after you finished your dinner. (No, pronouncing bruschetta like you want me to know you were an exchange student in Florence does not make the restaurant any more Italian). Really great vibe and excellent Italian cuisine.

This place is in a league of its own. Firstly, the menu variety is astounding. Secondly, the food itself was undeniably the best Italian food I've had in a really long time. I can't wait to go back.

Such a nice spot to grab a quick, relaxing bite to eat. The house salad is super fresh with radicchio and fennel! Yum!

We were looking for a casual Italian restaurant due to our attire not being the most fancy and it was 4 pm on a Sunday. We had tried to go to 2 other places, but they were busy or closed, so we ended up here, but we were so glad we did! The setup is a tiny bit confusing, when we got there we waited at the front and an employee gave us some menus and from what we gathered, you order first and then are seated. We came right before the dinner rush, so there was ample seating. The complementary bread was a nice surprise and they have balsamic and oil on the table for you. We also got the panzerotti for appetizers and they were delicious. Perfect for 2 people. Between the two of us, we go the pollo al mattone with truffle mashed potatoes and asparagus, the gnocchi pesto and the fiochetti alla pera. The homemade gnocchis and tagliatelle were phenomenal. I ordered the gamberetti just based on the description and it was amazing!! Lighter and sweeter, but absolutely delicious. We’re big fans of gnocchi as well and this was by far the best gnocchi we have ever tried. The chicken dish was our least favorite, not because it was bad, but because the pasta dishes were so good. We were quite fond of the truffle mashed potatoes too. Afterwards, we grabbed some gelato on the way out, both the lemon bar and spumoni were so good!! The staff was friendly and we really loved the casual aspect of this restaurant. We were beaming about the food when we left and knew we would be going back soon, especially because of the prices. Thank you!!

As Italian I had to try this place out,and have to say the pizza was fantastic! We had a Tirolo and a 4 stagioni and one order of the coccoli..everything was really good and delicious with great quality ingredients,we'll definitely come back to try some other items on their nice Menù! Staff was very friendly too!

Great food and service! We come here all the time for lunch and dinner. We prefer to sit at the bar because you receive full service. If you want a table, you need to order at the counter. This is the pollo al limone. Everything we’ve had here is excellent. You can’t go wrong!

Best Italian spot in Denver hands down. Everything they make is from scratch with quality ingredients—great pizza, panini, pasta, entrees and more. They even have a little market within the restaurant with lots of goods straight from Italy, including an extensive cooler of gelato. I can’t say enough good things about the food here, and the wonderful people who make it run. Everyone is always very friendly; every visit feels like a big happy Italian family lunch/dinner. To borrow an old slogan from the illustrious Olive Garden, “when you’re here, you’re family”.

The chicken picatta style entree was excellent with the mashed potatoes, and so was the salad with salmon. The fried calamari, shrimp, and vegetable appetizer was cooked well but was EXTREMELY salty to the point of inedible, way way less salt and I would have really enjoyed it. I would definitely come back but avoid that one dish. Great service and atmosphere.

The food here is delicious! The staff is super friendly also they speak Italian and their accents are to die for 😍 fall in love with the staff and the food. The price is a little expensive, but I'm not mad about it. The atmosphere was excellent. They have gluten-free options and they were very helpful!

This place is AMAZING! I would give more stars if I could. Natasha was great we had the calamari appetizers and the pizza. We are only in Denver for a few hours but will return on our next visit.

Food is great, and you can tell the ingredients are top notch. You definitely should grab lunch or dinner here if in area. I only leave it as 3 stars because during our last experience, we got bad table service and ended up talking to the owner, who was extremely aloof and rude considering he was talking to paying customers. Other than that, the food and drinks are spot on and excellent. I change my review to 5 stars. My wife and I quit our ban of this place, as the food is just TOO good. Hope to have many happy experiences moving forward, and every ingredient on anything tastes like there is a garden on the roof (maybe there is, I don't know). Anyway, fantastic food. Just adding a pic and commentary from my last visit. This gets a five even though I am not a fan of the counter ordering before sitting down. I like to peruse a little more, but that is just me. If having some cocktails, although the bar is small, it is comfy and we like to sit there if possible. But that is neither here nor there, as let's get to the greatness. Once you sit down, you get fantastic sit down service. The bread is amazing. My wife and I are both big fans of their carbonara. You can't go wrong with that. The New Yorkese is a SOLID sandwich, and you probably can get a second meal out of it. I haven't officially even gotten to the pizza yet, but hear it is awesome. Now, for the latest thing I had. I had the Penne Gorgonzola and it was SO good. I am pretty sure it is fat free. Picture below. Now, I might not get to the pizza for a longer time since I probably will just order that penne again. Also, the salads are tasty and very fresh tasting. Oh, and they have a dangerous counter near the exit with all sorts of sweets and gelato. Anyway, I definitely recommend, and see you there.

Parisi is a really special place. “Fast casual” ordering and an easy going environment but the quality of the food is far from fast casual. The menu selection is unreal and makes it difficult to choose. All the food is excellent and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. Easy 5 stars.

Love love love eating at Parisi. My favorite dish is the tomato soup. So creamy and flavorful, and afforadable! And I love the complementary foccacia bread that comes with your order. They also have a great selection of non-alcoholic beverages.

We ordered catering from Parisi for our holiday party and everything was a huge hit! We had about 30 people and ordered 2 entrees two salads, the bruschetta and meat/ cheese plate and we had plenty of food, and lots of leftovers. Everyone said how good the food was and was asking where it was from. I usually make food but since we were having more people than usual I decided to get catering, and it was not much more than I usually spend on food, and it saved me so much time and energy. We will definitely be ordering for parties in the future! Thank you!!!

Fantastic food for the price! I was not a fan of the artichoke appetizer, but their handmade pasta is great! I was skeptical of their order-first (before being seated) model at first but it's actually easy and efficient!

Ya know, given that we have young kids, we don't get out much. So when we go out, we want it to count. There are always the "usual" spots that you know are good, but sometimes it's nice to branch out. Sometimes we're pleased, sometimes it's meh. On this particular evening, we were pleased. VERY pleased. I will admit that the ordering process wasn't what we were expecting. Think "Panera Bread" where you walk in and order your food at a counter. However, after ordering, things get more "sit-down" restaurant like. They assign you a table and then your food is brought to you. The menu is large and diverse so we felt a bit under the gun trying to pick whilst in line so they obliged and let us sit down to look over the menu. Once we ordered, the food came out very quickly, but it was certainly NOT fast food quality. It was "straight from Italy" quality. OMFG, it was amazing. We tried Gnocchi Gorgonzola & Noci (Gnocci, gorgonzola, & walnuts) as well as the Calzone Americano. Both were spectacular! So fresh, flavorful, and well done. Honestly, we felt like we were back in Italy. The friendly Italian gentleman (maybe the manager, maybe the owner) treated us incredibly well so that probably enhanced the experience and only made it that much better for two newbies to Parisi. We will most certainly be back to explore more of the menu. Prices were extremely reasonable given the quality received and I would wholeheartedly recommend Parisi to anyone!

We were a party of 7 , arrived at 520pm, they found us a table while we placed our order. 3 got the lasagna, 2 pasta, and 2 shared a Maialona pizza. Ordered a pear& Gorgonzola green salad, a mixed cheese plate, and a mixed meat plate. And glasses of wine, of course. All the food came out of the kitchen within 10 minutes, almost all plates together, so no one really had to wait for the other to begin digging in! Plus, the wait staff had brought baskets of bread, waters, and our wine so we started munching right away. Great service, and everyone loved their meal. I met Simone Parisi about 18 years ago when he had the first smaller location, and have loved their food since then. Hope they stick around for many years to come.

Transported from Denver to Italy by walking through the door. Clearly operated by Italians, the food is authentic Italian, but even better is the atmosphere, from the line to order (just like the cafes along the sidewalks of Rome), to the smell of the woodfired oven. When the food arrived it solidified my resolve that this is the best Italian in Colorado, maybe even the whole USA. The olive oil on the table is very good quality. When you have finished a perfectly prepared meal, there is gelato, made on premise. Just like the gelato, I remember from Pisa. The trattoria, located in the basement took me bach to a trattoria in Firenza (Florence). I almost hated to leave as this was such a wonderful experience.

We love this place, always having an authentic Italian pizza... The flavors and the pizza crust takes you back to all those old memories in Italy... Customer service is awesome!! For dessert we got a profirerole that was not fresh but still good.

This place is incredible! I live in Austin Texas but I treat myself to this amazing treat every time I'm in Denver. I'll be up there in June and will be there for some more deliciousness!

If it were only the food Parisi would get a 5+. The quality is unmatched. However, we had been ordering the Cri Pizza (best pizza on the planet) as a take-and-bake for years, even though it was not a regular menu item. We NEVER had an issue with its quality. The last time we called to order the pizza we were informed that a new "policy" prohibited the sale of this variety as a take-and-bake because the restaurant could not guarantee its quality. It is difficult to comprehend how the restaurant can offer some of its pizza selections unbaked and not others, and though it is understandable and commendable that the establishment wants to deliver the highest quality food possible, whenever the finish work for any product is left to the consumer all bets are off regarding the final outcome. Haven't been back since.

Last night was a scooter themed community table dinner and it was fantastic. The ambience was spot on, the food was top notch and the people were awesome. Meeting the owner Chris and her husband was definitely a highlight of the night. I highly recommend this restaurant and when they have another community table event be sure to attend. I think I have found a new place to call home because it sure felt like I was eating at my family's house.

One of the last best genuine Italian restaurants in town. I can't recommend enough!

For real authentic Italian food there is still no place better in the Denver Metro area and the people are friendly and fun.

Wife and I ordered lasagnas that were delicious. Then had some gelato for desert. So yummy!

My favorite Italian restaurant in the Denver area. Affordable and authentic food, in a setting that isn’t cramming stereotypical Italian decor down your throat *cough* *cough* Olive Garden. All in all, a super trendy Italian spot with surprisly conplex flavors.

This place was absolutely delicious. Fast but not pushy. The staff was great and helpful with recommendations. The food was so good.

Americano calzones are always dank, and the gelato is even better after!
