Coperta - Denver - Photo album

My chef friend and I decided to grab dinner and planned a trip to Coperta to reminisce on how much we miss Italian food back home in New York. This spot exceeded the bar with subtle seasonal twists on Southern Italian classics, incredible (& unique) beverage selections, and a whole-heartedly genuine
Everything you can ask for from an Italian restaurant. Starting with rustic atmosphere, house made sauces and marinades, and caring service. Hope to return next time I visit Denver. Pictured is a red from Puglia (Luccarelli Negroamaro), marinated olives, house baked focaccia. Not pictured is the smo
Due to a medical emergency as healthcare workers, we were 20 minutes late for our reservation but we called to apologize and the entire staff were amazing. Special thank you to Alison for all her help!! The food here was SO GOOD. We got oysters and spaghetti cacio e pepe - would highly recommend bo
This meal was a special occasion for my partners birthday. We’ve been living in denver for 6 years and never been here. We’ve been to Rome and Italy 4 months prior to eating here. Coperta sparked our memories of being back in Rome and Florence. We got a complementary slice of pizza that we absolutel
The potato dessert was sooooo good. The pastas were of course delicious too! I appreciate the fee they have !
The Buck Choi was fantastic. I believe it was the special appetizer. Mocktails were delicious. We ordered the goat cheese ravioli and wood-fired king salmon. Both entrees were extremely salty. Hence, the 4 stars and not 5. The amount of salt took away from any other flavor. Our waitress was super ki
Food and drinks were great! Server was wonderful about explaining everything and they even got us in last minute on a Friday night. Our seats were a very interesting view of the kitchen, which I loved. The only thing that wasn't 100% impressive was the odd musical choice. But I'd take that any day f
Amazing ambiance. Wonderful wine selection. Had a special menu so did not order from the regular menu.
Come for brunch! The cocktails are great, I loved the bittersweet wake up. Kyle at the bar was excellent too. All the food looked great, and the two egg breakfast was as good as the best.
We had a fantastic meal at Coperta last night! I honestly don't know how this gem of an Italian restaurant is not always packed. Ryan was our server and he was extremely friendly and attentive. He was happy to describe dishes to us and make recommendations. We ended up getting the bucatini, cavatell
I really wanted to like this place more than I did. The wine list was a little difficult to navigate unless you are familiar with lesser know Italian wines/regions, with the cheapest bottle being $57 (which I thought was pretty bad). The 3 pastas I tried (cacio e Pepe, rabbit sachettoni, and aglio e
An amazing restaurant with great atmosphere, service and food. Everything tasted amazing. I had the cacio e pepe and the pork chop. The pasta was delicious as expected, but the pork chop blew me away. The appetizers and dessert were also great. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything here. I
An amazing dining experience! The food and service were just absolutely stellar. The drink pictured is the Negroni Gialla- perfect if you want a nice sipping gin drink. We did this as a 4 course dinner with apps, first 2 small plates and a main plate to share ending with dessert. Meatball appetizer
I work and travel extensively in Italy and this is the best Italian food experience I’ve had in the USA. It’s authentic with a hip twist. The restaurant design is so thoughtful and reminiscent of the older days, which is so Italy. Thank you. We will be back again and again and again.
I agree with the other 4 and 5 star reviews here. My girlfriend and I visited on 12/31/22. The service is excellent. The staff was very attentive and was quick to clear plates, refill drinks, and brought clean utensils throughout the meal. We ordered the braised rib and focaccia for appetizers. The
One of the better pasta places in the city. A little pricey, but was overall quite good. Good vibes, farmhouse table settings and friendly staff. Parking was easy, would go again.
Absolutely fantastic. Best Italian meal I’ve had in a very very long time. Wish we had taken pictures!!!! The smoked oysters were incredible and the gnocchi/lamb ragu and crab pastas were fantastic. Highly recommend and love the new menu. We will be back!!!
