My friend and I had a delightful breakfast at Ellyngton’s at The Brown Palace this morning. We were scheduled for the final seating at 10:30 and at no time did the staff make us feel rushed at all. To the contrary, we were told to relax and enjoy even though they were setting up for dinner. My friend had an enormous serving of French Toast with berries which she could barely finish. She said it was absolutely delicious. I had the All American Breakfast. My eggs tasty a little waxy but everything else was fine. The berries were very fresh which was wonderful and the coffee was strong and plentiful. Our server, Hal, was charming and attentive and made our morning meal feel like an occasion. Just a super, genuine guy. We are looking forward to our next meal at Ellyngton’s.
Loved my experience at this restaurant. We went for a Sunday brunch after our anniversary, and it was great. Fun selection on the brunch menu. The menu is not too much but just enough to keep it creative. And the bottomless mimosas dinner hurt either. We ordered three entrees. One was a prime rib hash with eggs on top. That came out fantastic. Seasoned well and delicious. We also ordered French toast which was okay. I wish it would have had a little bit more creative flavor, but it was a good French toast. I ordered an Oscar omelette with hollandaise sauce, it was delicious. I love how it was creative. This is something that I would try to recreate, maybe in a different style, but the combination of flavors was great. The server was super fun and fantastic, I think all servers should be like her, especially in a beautiful hotel like the Brown Palace! Overall I would go here again. Bring family friends for a fun brunch. And the price is just right.
The restaurant interiors are simply unbelievable and so is the entry through the hotel lobby. The food was pretty good as well and the customer service was amazing. The price was also very decent for such a high end restaurant. My favorite food was the soup 😋
Hands down one of the best brunch experiences. Had the crab omelette and it was literally the best omelette I’ve ever had. Love that they offer tiered bottomless champagne options. The piano player elevated the atmosphere. I would definitely come here again.
Love this restaurant for breakfast and brunch. Our server Keith gave us excellent service and good menu recommendations. My husband got the steak and eggs which was great. I had the prime rib hash - the meat was cooked to perfection. Serving size is larger than I expected. I love the decor of The Brown Palace and Ellynton's. It's the prefect place for a date or to dine with family. The large windows offer a nice view of downtown Denver. Every time we have dined here, the service has been good. They also have one of my favorite brews of coffee. They offer valet parking at a reasonable price. All in all a great place to eat.
A wonderful experience to share with friends and family. The eggs benedict are so far the best I've had in Denver and knowing your drinking water that comes from a natural artesian well under the Brown Palace makes it a Colorado experience of its own. Ellyngton's use to be called the San Marcos Room where big bands of the day had once played, with its old rich history its safe to say there are a few ghost stories along the way( they do have amazing ghost tours as well by Ms Deb, the Brown Palace historian) From the beatles to presidents to royalty they have stayed and ate and have had many good conversations within the walls of the world famous Brown Palace. Eat, enjoy and discover what us natives already know about the Brown and discover for yourself this amazing place to stay and dine.
Great food with obvious attention to detail when picking out their ingredients and recipes. Excellent gluten free and keto options. See photos. Waiters were very nice and professional.
Brunch was delicious and service amazing. Ellyngtons is being redone so we were in a temporary space which is reason for lower atmosphere score. Still wonderful!
What an incredible experience! This hotel/building is so stunning. I'm sad we didn't get to dessert, because the food was so yummy I kinda stuffed my face! Very simple ingredients. Great drinks. Server was a little busy but to be expected. I suggest the bottomless mimosas for brunch. I will be back next time I'm in Denver for sure!
We dined at Ellyngton's for breakfast during our stay at the Brown Palace Hotel a few weekends ago. The food was delicious (I recommend trying their corned beef hash) and the service was exceptional. The staff are very kind, friendly, and attentive. I would definitely dine with them again. Thank you for a great experience.
