Review Urban Farmer Denver - Denver

Absolutely amazing experience here. Celebrated our anniversary here while visiting, and was told this establishment has the best steaks in the nation. Didn’t have any complaints, our server was Katie and she was phenomenal. Will highly recommend to my colleagues. Also super neat bathroom setup, the building is beautiful. Thanks for the hospitality

Great service, great atmosphere. We had the Waugh New York strip, steak sampler, twice baked potato tart, and roasted local mushrooms. Our favorite is the NY strip which is most tender and most flavorful. The twice baked potato tart was delicious and it’s a specialty, so comes highly recommended. The roasted mushrooms are good, a bit salty for my taste. The steak sampler is fun and all but the only the dry aged one is tender, and the other two that are grass fed and grain fed are chewy and there’s a tendon inside making them even harder to chew. I felt the sampler is a bit overpriced for the grass/grain fed meat quality. I suggest they can offer some specialty salt as I felt the steaks can use a bit more salt. But can let customer decide how much salt to sprinkle on their steaks. Overall great restaurant, very good service. We would definitely go again!

In town for a conference, and looking for a special meal for our team. We wanted something that would be adventurous enough for the thrill seekers in our squad, but familiar enough that the particular eaters would not go back to the hotel hungry and Urban Farmer nailed it. From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in good hands. The environment feels hip but not overly trendy. Our mixed gens all felt welcome and comfortable. Seated promptly on time for our reservation, service was efficient but not overbearing. The food was spectacular- Venison, and Little Gem salad pictured along with the very hype-worthy cornbread in a jar. We all felt like if we came back again, there was something else we 100% wanted to try. My top vote is the side of local mushrooms with the steak tasting. Above all else, the food was satisfying and filling, with ingredients that tasted *and felt* healthy. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Food was amazing. The make your own Bloody Mary bar was legit and worth the $$ for unlimited. Service was also on point which is always impressive on a Saturday morning.

Excellent bison ribeye, excellent blue corn bread which is surprisingly tasty. Appetizers are solid but unspectacular. Great quality food overall

My husband and I recently traveled to Denver for our first trip without our kids, and we were very much looking forward to experiencing downtown Denver, with all that it has to offer in dining options. After some research, we chose a very appealing restaurant in the heart of the city, Urban Farmer, not only for its rave reviews, but for its rural/eclectic feel of an atmosphere, and of course the quality of many farm to table food options they offer. We were not disappointed! From the lovely hostess that greeted us at the door, to our professional, attentive, and down to earth server Nick, who made us feel so welcome and comfortable, to their friendly and kind manager Dustin, who checked in on us throughout our meal, making us feel at home there. The service at Urban Farmer was simply put, outstanding. We come from a city known for its eclectic and wide variety of great restaurants, and our dining experience at Urban Farmer, was just above and beyond. The food selections were plentiful, with many options to choose from, all of which are locally sourced, and prepared with excellence and love from their amazing culinary chefs. Beginning with our first course of their fresh selections of charcuterie boards, to our salad course, the INCREDIBLE heritage bred beef tasting we selected, to the sides, and finally, a tasting board of several amazing house made desserts. Absolutely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in years, and some of the best food we’ve enjoyed in all of the places we’ve traveled around the country. We loved Urban Farmer, we love Denver, and we will be back! Highly highly recommend, 10/10!

Our server, Andrew, was fantastic and went above and beyond to make our evening dinner experience one of the best we’ve ever had. The food was phenomenal, the portions were generous, and the hospitality from start to end were top tier. My wife and I cannot recommend UF enough.

Upscale and chic. Great taste on all dishes and very professional service. Interesting chili, but would warn if coming alone it’s a large appetizer as it’s very filling. Pork chop flavor was amazing.

The deviled eggs were fantastic. The farm fries were cooked perfectly but they came out so incredibly salty. We ordered another round with no salt the second time and they were much better. Outstanding blue cornbread, so flavorful. The bison and beef chili is packed full of spices and is a total treat. Perfectly cooked sea scallops. The sliders were a good side with amazing brioche buns. The cobbler we ordered was made table side in such a style that everyone around us in the restaurant asked what we ordered- Not to mention it was amazing. Thank you Urban Farmer for exceeding what I believed this eating experience would be.

We decided to try this restaurant for brunch on Saturday and it did not disappoint. All of the options on the menu sounded delicious but I went with the steak benedict after the waiter recommended it. There was also a bloody Mary bar with a wide variety of options that was pretty good.

Excellent main course and an average to midland charcuterie. Service was adequate and a little lacking in enthusiasm. About half way through the meal the waiter disappeared and after finishing we waited about 20 minutes contemplating dessert however decided to just leave

Over the years we've brought thousands of our food tour guests to Urban Farmer for cocktails, appetizers and full steak meals. We always have a great experience with the staff and food. I highly recommend the Butter Pecan Old Fashioned which is made with pecan fat washed Amaro Nonino and the filet flight which gives you the chance to taste cuts of the same meat from several different producers with different feed routines. You can really compare grass fed beef to corn fed etc. Really fun and interesting.

We celebrated my birthday at urban farmer with brunch and I loved it. Our waitress was excellent (Enya I think). She was very attentive and made us all feel welcome! The food was delicious and I appreciated the half portions on the eggs Benedict! And the bottomless mimosas were wonderful! We will definitely be back!!

The flight-of-steak was fun. I liked tasting side-by-side the grain fed, grass fed, and aged beef. Now I finally get the difference! Delicious sides. Cocktails were not great: I tried 3. On the "Curmudgeon " was to my liking. Start was great!

Nice place. Only had drinks and they were good. Bartender are super friendly and attentive.

Leaving three stars because of the service The good - ALL the food and drinks were amazing, flavorful, and worth waiting for. Table side beef tartar preparation was a highlight. The bad - 35 mins after being seated before being brought water/menu (after asking for it and had a reservation - they weren't full), another 15 mins on top of that to get a drink. Waitress was very uninterested in serving us and basically left the overall impression that we were inconveniencing her by having her do her job. Was it worth $369 + tip (and we still tipped 20% even though she didn't deserve it)... probably not because of the service which is a shame since the food was so amazing.

My friend and I got to try out some of the items from their breakfast menu. Both the food and staff were absolutely delightful! Highly recommend the stuffed French toast, in house made English muffins, and their chicken cherry sausage! Thanks again for the breakfast.

Phenomenal night! Food was incredible (steak tasting definitely worth sharing!) And our server Sara was fantastic! Highly recommend!

Unfortunately I did not have a chance to dine at Urban Farmer. I was looking for a location to meet someone for a drink and maybe an appetizer. This 1 star is based off service. When I arrived I said a table for 3. When it came to ordering we said we are probably just going to get drinks and maybe an appetizer but no food. Our waiters emotions were written all over his face... grabbed our menus aggressively and brought them back to the host stand where he slammed them down. This deterred me from even wanting to order anything additional. I was extremely disappointed with his attitude. We did not exchange words on his manner because we felt we didn't want to make it more awkward with how he clearly didn't want our business. Half way through our drinks we received a new waitress Ana. ( I don't know if he decided to just give up) She was the best part of our experience for the 2 drinks I had at this Urban Farmer Denver location. Tip: Whether its drinks or food all customers should be treated equal. And maybe for future the hostess could ask if we plan on dining or just drinks so as not to disappoint a server. But regardless the service was incredibly disappointing.

My friends & I loved it so much that we went back the following night to celebrate our dear friends bday. The food & service were exceptional; the ambiance of the place speaks for itself. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I had the 21 Day Dry Aged NY Strip (bone on). Great steak, cooked Med Rare as I ordered it. It had that aged "funkiness" about it (and that is a good thing.) Price was a bit much and they are trying way too hard. It just comes across as pricy and pretentious for an OK meal.

Beautiful decor, amazing food and extremely attentive service. Highly recommend, especially the tableside beef tartare. Mushroom's growing in the basement was really cool as well.

Taking craft to a whole other level - who has 90,000 bees on their rooftop? Excellent - great innovative menu and drink selection.

Took way to long for my meal, the server was more interested in her boyfriend, then my food, she kept ignoring me. Took about 53min not coming back

Came in last night for dinner, and could not be more pleased with the entire experience. The feel is open and bright, with many unique features spread throughout (micro greens, pickling jars, an actual mushroom garden in the basement). They have made a great effort to keep many items grown and sourced in house- including a rooftop bee hive (we loved that part). The service from beginning to end was second to none- we dine out very often, and can say with confidence that this was the best in recent memory. The food was awesome- everything was well portioned, thought out, and flavorful- the sweet corn polenta was a real treat, and the twice baked potato was to die for. All in all we are thrilled to have such a great new option in the downtown neighborhood- I can only Imagine the brunch options are just as good, and really look forward to giving it A try.

Amazing decor, great staff, super close to the Union Station so great to grab a bite after a flight. No need was unmet.

Our group of ladies enjoyed our meal today. Everything was delicious. You just need bottomless mimosas to bring us back.

Solid! Every dish was great as were the cocktails. Service was warm and genuine. Pricing seems a bit high but this is the standard in other large city markets.

We had high taste expectations for the food given the price tag; however, this was not the case. The flavor was nonexistent. The service, on the other hand, was great.

Beautiful space and a delicious menu! I especially loved the Butter Pecan Old Fashioned!

Went for brunch. The food and service was excellent. The restaurant interior is beautifully done. We had an issue with the flies. They do keep the windows open in the front. Seems the flies get trapped in the back. They moved up upfront with no problems. Even though this happened, I still give it 5 stars.

I did not have a good experience at Urban Farmer in Denver. When I walked into the restaurant I was not greeted with a smile or welcome to Urban Farmer but was told to go to the bar to place a carry out order. That really was my chance to turn around and walk out especially when I was going to dine in. Went to the bar I was given a class of water with trash in it. Menu placed in front of me, ok placed order inform gentleman have my meat well done. He turned around and walked away, (something wrong I was not asked my side items) so I asked what sides come with my order why did he not tell me I'm giving you bread. Missed opportunity again to walk out. Get back to my room, meat was not well done as ordered no side item but bread. To top it all off no plastic utensil. Urban Farmer on a scale of 1 to 10 where as 10 is high I give you a ZERO.
