African Grill And Bar - Denver - Photo album

Amazing authentic African food. The owner is great and always willing to talk about African culture and cuisine. A bit pricey but all of the food is made in house fresh and beverages are imported. Try the Malta Guinness drink from Ghana!
Yum! My husband and I were visiting from Florida when we visited this place for the first time. The service was excellent. We were immediately greeted with a smile and waited on by the owner. He was helpful in explaining the dishes and making recommendations. The food took a bit of time to come out.
Fantastic place we stumbled upon. It’s a casual place in a brand new strip mall. They have some bar seating, large dining area, and a small dance floor section where a band could play. Bar has beer and wine including some W or E African lagers that I’ve never seen before. Varied menu with poultr
This is an amazing restaurant. The owner of the establishment, Osea (sorry if I misspelled) greeted us with a smile, making some recommendations and bringing plenty of food. He was very friendly, and told me to try the beef samosas, and he did not disappoint. They were heavenly. This restaurant is p
This is by far one of the BEST African restaurant I have ever ate at... I’m here on vacation and was craving some good authentic food. I found them online and because of the reviews I stepped out on faith and gave it a try seeing how good people spoke of the food. NO LIE I’m sitting here so full and
The food is amazing. They offer a variety of dishes from all over Africa. I try something different every time and have never been disappointed. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Food here was very good although service is slightly slow. My brother and i didnt really know what to order and were going back and forth on getting the cabbage stew and one more dish. The boss lady came out of the kitchen and settled the situation for us. She asked, what meat you want, beef, chicke
Very good food, service, and ambience. I highly recommend the okra plate. The plantains were nicely cooked. Not fried hard like most places.
First time truck driver passing through. I ordered the cabbage stew with oxtail meat and white rice. I was bummed i didn't get plantains but that's ok. The food was really good. From a jamaican family i loveeeee jamaican food but this was really good. Cabbage stew was nicely flavored. Oxtails weren'
Got the sampler platter for two and it was super yummy and very satisfying. My husband especially loved it because he got to finish what I couldn't. The rice, the plantains, samosas, African bread, yam, and goat stew were ALL scrumptious. Oh and the ginger juice was unexpectedly pleasant too!
Incredible food! Great flavors and the selection of African Lagers is delicious. The family that owns and operates the restaurant is warm and personable. Treat yourself to this unique dining experience
Wow is all I can say. Nice family owned restaurant serving traditional African home cooking . It was absolutely amazing. Very flavorful and just full of love. I will be back!!
Best Ghanaian food outside of Ghana! Worth it for a visit if you are near the airport! Very authentic. Plantains are a must, and I recommend the peanut butter soup.
I had the dinner for two with a friend. Awesome food. Everything tasted excellent. The jollof rice and lamb samosas stood out to me. The chicken and cabbage was also good. Yum! On the way to the airport so an option would be to drop by before your flight.
Great, unique food, a little pricy. The owners are awesome. You can tell they love seeing people enjoy their food. Also their plantains are amazing! I never leave reviews, but this place is worth it.
Ordered the Chakalaka. This was my first time having African fare and it was very tasty. Portion sizes were great, and the owners were courteous and affable. While the portion is a "whole plate of food," the food very pricey.
Our group of seven represented WI, OR, NY, FL, Brazil, and South Africa, and all of us LOVED this place. We opted for our hosts to "feed us", rather than order from the menu, and selected a few protein options. While we enjoyed a round of the "big" lagars, plates upon plates started piling up on our
