Angelo's Taverna - Denver - Photo album

Stopped in Angelo's with friends around 9 pm on a Friday night. Luckily for us it was Happy Hour and oysters were on sale for $1 each. Quite a deal compared to other restaurants in Denver. They were big and plump and juicy and a great way to start the evening! They also had baked oysters which loo
Angelo’s so SOO good!! The Happy hour can’t be beat. FYI: Happy Hour Martini’s are an added $3 coming in at $9. The 8” pizza is enough for 1 person. It was very tasty. Crust was a little too thick for my liking but I would order it again. Our bartender was so busy and she kept the entire bar moving
Excellent Italian dining experience. Tasty traditional dishes. Good and attentive service. Bar area is busy and lively. Note that garlic bread, which could use more garlicky seasoning, was served with our dinners, so may not need to order it separately as an appetizer. Definitely worth a trip to per
BEST OYSTERS In Colorado! Hands down and the cocktails are amazing I love the service here everyone is always so friendly even if the service is a little slow. But above all if you’re looking for delicious oysters with a variety of flavor this is the perfect spot! Highly recommend
Food is good for Italian food in this area. It was crazy busy here and the wait is insane. We got the burrata which was delicious (the bread was not the best), the arancini which were also delicious, and pizza. The pizza is okay, but not authentic Italian personal pizzas. The price of the pizza is a
Love coming to their Monday happy hours. The best place is to sit at the bar. The mussels are fantastic and come with a good amount. The fried ravioli is exquisite. The crab slider is also great. Can get pretty busy so come before the dinner rush.
I went on a Monday. The chargrilled oysters were great. The flavor was wonderful. They were sold individually or by the dozen. The Monday special options were clams or mussels with pasta and a salad.
Friendly staff. We started with a house salad and garlic bread with marinara. Bread was delicious and fresh. I didn't realize the original oysters were cookied and filled with heavy cheese. I was not a fan at all. I ordered the lobster gnocchi, which was delicious! My partner ordered the salmon whic
Sat us around 8:30 so we made it to their second round of happy hours (9pm to close)!! Dollar oysters are hard to beat - didn’t end up with food poisoning either hehe. We tried a few of the grilled oysters as well. The chargrilled special at time had lobster(?) but it was too salty for us. Other tha
I had incredibly delicious food here. My only complaint is that the back patio was inaccessible when I went. The main reason we picked Angelo’s is because all of the searches said there was patio seating. There were only 2-3 tables available in the front which faces busy 6th street. I really liked t
Amazing happy hour. I adore this place. The food the service the atmosphere. Highly recommend.
Always loving Angelo’s, especially when it’s like 5 minutes away from our house. Decided to have a Monday Dinner over here (we did take-out) . It was great. Staff friendly, fresh food, and I really love the toasted ravioli. We always get it whenever we have Angelo’s and its definitely a must try! So
Angelo's is a great place to be for happy hour! They have options from pizza to oysters, salads, sliders and drinks! There is a parking lot which is great as well as some street parking but I am only giving 4 stars because the Odyssey across the street has way better Italian food. I do like that Ang
Two words.. chargrilled oysters! Absolutely mind blowing. That one dish saved this review. We waited an hour. Watched people come in after us and get seated (I guess yah gotta know someone). The host and waiter were both super kind. I’m sure the seating rules that allowed people to “cut line” wasn’t
We were living our DREAM at angelos. They sat us on the patio after a short wait (it was dinner rush on a sunday, we didn't mind at all) and the atmosphere was amazing. we tried the burrata and couldn't stop talking about how it literally changed our life. I got the lobster gnocchi and my friend got
Been here a couple of times. Can’t beat it. Incredible happy hour both from 3-6 & 9-close. $1 oysters? Caesar salad, pizzas, and pastas all fantastic. Always busy so come early. :)
I fell I'm love with this place! I want to come back to Denver just to eat here again. The staff was great. The food came out quickly and, most importantly, was delicious. The lobster gnocchi was cooked perfectly and the charred orders were perfection.
Easily the best meal I've had since moving to Denver!! Grilled oysters, butternut squash ravioli with bacon and browned butter, homemade limoncello shots and tiramisu! Everything was 100% on point! Atmosphere, food and service. Comfortable volume, easy to hear and carry conversation. Not too dimly
