I went on a Monday. The chargrilled oysters were great. The flavor was wonderful. They were sold individually or by the dozen.
The Monday special options were clams or mussels with pasta and a salad.

Food is good for Italian food in this area. It was crazy busy here and the wait is insane. We got the burrata which was delicious (the bread was not the best), the arancini which were also delicious, and pizza. The pizza is okay, but not authentic Italian personal pizzas. The price of the pizza is a bit high, but worth it if you need a decent pizza spot! Service was decent, they were so busy though you could tell everyone was a bit frazzled.

Stopped in Angelo's with friends around 9 pm on a Friday night. Luckily for us it was Happy Hour and oysters were on sale for $1 each. Quite a deal compared to other restaurants in Denver. They were big and plump and juicy and a great way to start the evening!
They also had baked oysters which looked fantastic but raw is my favorite way to go.
We also shared the The Californian pizza which is their version of a Veggie pizza. It was loaded with veggies all cooked perfectly.
On ours, we ordered extra sauce, (something I always do. What can I say, I like a saucy pizza) add spinach and add jalapenos. We couldn't have been happier! Of course we enjoyed a myriad of cocktails and they were well made and tasty too.
The lighting, temperature and music ( really great music, Classics R&B) made the experience exactly what you want in terms of details.
It should also be noted that I'm picky about where I sit (looking for great sight lines) and the staff was happy to work with me until I was satisfied.
All in all we closed the place down and loved every minute!

BEST OYSTERS In Colorado! Hands down and the cocktails are amazing I love the service here everyone is always so friendly even if the service is a little slow. But above all if you’re looking for delicious oysters with a variety of flavor this is the perfect spot! Highly recommend

Sat us around 8:30 so we made it to their second round of happy hours (9pm to close)!! Dollar oysters are hard to beat - didn’t end up with food poisoning either hehe. We tried a few of the grilled oysters as well. The chargrilled special at time had lobster(?) but it was too salty for us. Other than that, we love the rest. We shared the Apache Rose Peacock pizza. No room for dessert.

Two words.. chargrilled oysters! Absolutely mind blowing. That one dish saved this review. We waited an hour. Watched people come in after us and get seated (I guess yah gotta know someone). The host and waiter were both super kind. I’m sure the seating rules that allowed people to “cut line” wasn’t something they controlled. Maybe with the digital age with access to multiple technologies they might be able to figure SOMETHING out. Yeah management could yah consider taking reservations? I had the Lasagna, about a 7 on a 1-10 scale, my companions had Ravioli - that was a solid 8. IF… ai return it will be in search of the Chargrilled Oysters… YUUUUUUMMMMIIIIIIEEE

I had incredibly delicious food here. My only complaint is that the back patio was inaccessible when I went. The main reason we picked Angelo’s is because all of the searches said there was patio seating. There were only 2-3 tables available in the front which faces busy 6th street. I really liked the food, however in an effort to practice covid safety as cases rise, I would only dine there again if more outdoor seating is available.

We were living our DREAM at angelos. They sat us on the patio after a short wait (it was dinner rush on a sunday, we didn't mind at all) and the atmosphere was amazing. we tried the burrata and couldn't stop talking about how it literally changed our life. I got the lobster gnocchi and my friend got the penne vodka, both were phenomenal! hostess called me a queen when i left, that was a nice touch :))

Angelo’s so SOO good!! The Happy hour can’t be beat. FYI: Happy Hour Martini’s are an added $3 coming in at $9. The 8” pizza is enough for 1 person. It was very tasty. Crust was a little too thick for my liking but I would order it again.
Our bartender was so busy and she kept the entire bar moving. She did an astounding job!!
We can’t wait to come back!!
