Food tasted amazing.I loved the Pork bun and Octopus fritter. Server was amazing. Atmosphere was great and food came about as quickly as possible. Nice location. Parking was slightly harder to find but not difficult a few blocks away. Inside was dimly light but not dark in the evening.

Great all around. The food was incredible and so flavorful but not too filling. While we had lots of small bites and shared an entree and salad in a group of five we felt perfectly full, fulfilled but not overstuffed. Our server Jack went above and beyond and made the experience even more enjoyable. Getting the soup dumplings is a must! We’ll absolutely be back!

We stopped for lunch since it looked busy and the food did not disappoint. Also our waiter Brian gave great recommendations and we loved his recommendations. We have never been to Denver and he even surprised with a handwritten list of a few other recommendations to try around Denver. It was very thoughtful of him!

Good vibe. Lovely decor, food was pretty good but relatively Americanized rather than the “modern Asian” I was expecting. The servers were amazingly sweet and got us in quickly. Also the tables were good and spacious enough. Also we ordered zucchini tempura and they also fried lemon wheels… literally cut lemons and fried them. Seed and all. Quite strange. Apparently they are edible but it’s just bitter lemon rind and sour pulp with no juice.

Had an excellent experience and meal my first time at ChoLon. Friends had been raving about the flavors here so I had to come check it out. Not pictured are the French onion soup dumplings that I inhaled. the Brussel sprouts had a sweet and zing-y flavor with a little spicy. The eggplant was a favorite as well with multi level texture and flavors. The nap buns were clearly delicious as noted by the bite before the picture. Come check this place out for a flavor bomb experience.

Sat for dinner in a reserved party of 5 on a Saturday night. It was very busy so service was a little slow. The decor is classy, and the staff professional and attentive. The food was excellent. The wine selection was also very good.
The soup filled dumplings and kimchi fried rice with waygu were definite highlights.

The biggest downside here is how loud this place is. Its like being at a bar. But the food is amazing. We get the "General Chos's", Chinese Chicken soup dumplings, the Kaya Toast, Stir-fried Malaysian noodles, Michelle's Scallion Pancake. All were very tasty, the Kaya Toast, was a sweet and salty cheese bread that you dip into frothed egg, it is a sweat appetizers. The Scallion pancake, was very tasty, very much like a traditional scallion pancake but cut into strips and what seems to be fried. the soup dumplings, were just a simple chicken soup dumpling, but it was done well. The Malaysian noodles are an extremely wide noodle almost like a lasagna noodle, which are mixed with a general stir fry mix, all together made for a great dish. For dessert we got the palisade peach cobbler, which is not what you think of as a cobbler, but it was still very tasty.

Thank Abi for wonderful service and recommendations! My husband dislikes onions and she went above and beyond to mark all of the items on the menu with/ without onion. We tried the fried rice, the skewers, the octopus and a few drinks. Fried rice was a bit salty for me. Their crème brûlée was delicious! We found this place as an iconic restaurant in downtown Denver.

Bustling contemporary downtown restaurant. Wonderfully creative Asian fusion menu with layers of texture and intense flavor in every dish. The fresh beet and pear salad was fabulous. The General Cho's soup dumplings were bursting with meaty gingery goodness, The kimchi fried rice was outstanding. The rendang curry was other worldly. The Wagyu Beef skewers were tender and delicious. And the spiced donuts were the perfect treat to end the meal. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive throughout.

Amazing happy hour!! French onion soup dumplings, corn dumplings, and pappadum - along with very affordable drinks (white wine and draft beer are what we chose)

We found this place in searching for soup dumplings and this did not disappoint. We were here for happy hour and tried quite a few things and all five of us were impressed with the big flavors and perfect level of heat.
Our server seemed to leave mid-meal and our second server struggled but it was happy hour and we are an easy going group.
Would definitely go back if we had more time in Denver!

This was one of the most filling, gut busting meals I’ve ever had because my table wanted to order one (or more) of practically everything. And we did. And I recommend all of it. Even the pork belly buns and soup dumplings to start would make for a great meal. But you can’t stop there. And shouldn’t.

The soup dumplings were fantastic and the sauce they supply to dip your fries in is so flavorful. The kimchi fried rice is what will keep me coming back again and again.

Happy Hour from 2-5:30p. 3 adults and 3 children were very happy, especially with the french onion gruyere soup dumplings and pork belly bao buns.

We were greeted with friendly smiles from the hostess who allowed us to seat earlier than our reservation time.
The lunch specials were exquisite. French onion dumplings came out hot, juicy but durably intact from chopstick to tongue.
The kimchi fried rice was a healthy portion. We added chicken, and the morsels were juicy. Nothing was saturated with spice, but features complex flavor profiles, even the surprise complimentary Indian papadam appetizer with a delicious tamarind tomato chutney.
We had a delightful server and made pleasant conversation with another staffer.
Highly recommend!

Always find something delicious to try but the soup dumplings and kaya toast keep us coming back. This time we tried the seasonal squah dumplings and they were sooo good. If you are vegetarian they even have the most delicious tofu bao buns. Oh and for the non drinkers a tasty mock tail menu too! We found so many things to order on happy hour the plates just kept coming
