Waffle House

4.5 stars. Everything I ordered was fresh and rightly made. At least 3 different staff members had made eye contact and asked if I needed anything or just ensuring I was good. I enjoyed the light conversation w my server. 1/2 star deduction because my table could have been wiped down better and one of my bacon slices was wiggly and not crispy. Side note, they honor vets w a 10% discount. Thank you so much. Happy eating, now Go get your grub on.

I go inside for take out for my wife and I.. The waitress stated her manager told her…… they can’t do carry out only dine in…. Due to short of staff…… I’m like that’s fair I understand.. I looked around… there’s only a few customers inside eating…. But in the far corner table it’s 4 to 5 WORKER sitting having a great time……. Really was a upset!!! It’s sad that ppl will sit around stealing company time… Take care of your customers then go back to your lovely corner table… I will not be back

Overall, if I were to review this place, there would be more stars. But my experience last night takes away any positive thoughts or feelings about this place. When I arrived, the bar seating area was dirty, and two tables had guests. It took about 10 minutes for the bar to be cleaned. When I sat, I was immediately offered a menu and silverware, which I declined as I wanted to place a to-go order. The waitress retorted back that she was not taking to-go orders as she was the only server. Seriously? What does that matter? I’m actually offering to help you as the only waitress, as you won’t have to do any of my dishes. She pointed at two other wait staff, and told me they were leaving, and again said she wouldn’t take a to-go order. What?! Why?! I drove 30 minutes to get food for my family to take home. If the phone would be answered at this location, perhaps I could have saved the drive and gone elsewhere.

I asked my mom why she got sick, she said it was half cooked. Then I asked my brother if he knew why (he picked up the food for us) he said there was only 2 people working there, 1 was in the kitchen, and 2 others were buying food there and he was as well. The company needs to get more employees to ease the work load. How can 1 person rush to get 3 different customers orders and the other get the food made. we've gone for years and this never happened ever before. hope things get better from here out for them. when the pandemic dies down I'm sure things will get better.

My son and I were seated fairly quickly. That was literally the best part about our visit. We received no silverware for our food, no straws for our drinks, and I was ignored when I tried to get the attention of the man who took our order. We still had to pay for our food, even though we did not eat it. Seeing as we did not have any silverware and was being ignored, how could we eat? Our “server” claimed to be the district manager, the very same man who ignored me and didn’t give us silverware for our food. Saying you’re the district manager of any establishment and saying it’s not your normal job to serve people is the poorest excuse I’ve ever heard. We will never go back to this location. If I see the district manager at another Waffle House, I will immediately leave. I would recognize the man by his voice. He sounds like Bob from the cartoon Bob’s Burgers. I would give a name, but his apron was covering up his name tag. How convenient. I do not recommend this particular Waffle House.
