Mcalister's Deli

1st time at this location. Food was great. Debbie was like in a Bad 😞 Mood or something. When I told her that I was a first time customer. She said oh. Well I was trying to figure out what to order. After our order was placed. She did A horrible job taking the order. There was 3 major factors in our order. The young lady who took care of us at the table. Outstanding Customer Service Skills. Wow very impressive. Thank you again for those great skills.

I normally love McAlister's but this was the worst location I've ever been to. I got a to-go meal and my wrap was 100% open. It was basically a caesar salad in a whole grain bread bowl. I honestly just ate the salad and had the tortilla part as a side. I THOUGHT I was getting a cup of chicken and dumplings but when I opened the lid, it was half a cup of gray water with a few strings of chicken (?) in it. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch of soup because I came in 2 hours before close... but really? I would rather have waited for some new soup than getting all the way to my destination and be dissatisfied. If the location wasn't so far I would've taken it back and got something else or just asked for a refund. Instead, I paid $8 for half a salad with bread and a half cup of dish water. If you're in Denton, just go to the location on University Dr. I've never had a bad experience there.

Honestly this franchise is the better options out of the other similar restaurant in the city. Their sandwiches are flavorful and their other options are decent. The only real problem is that the people that make the food sometimes make the orders wrong. Such as saying extra Mac and cheese and you never received it. Or you say no onions and somehow you still wind up with onions on the sandwich. Or the sandwich content is so lacking because they barely put anything on it. But overall I enjoy the food enough to keep coming back.
